  • Changing to file works here also.

    Changed back to http and tried preview, which brought up the Visual Studio debug handler, but cancelling that and it worked in the browser as 'http://localhost:50000/preview.html'.

  • Just updated my post, Ashley. Re space: I have over a Terabyte, as I develop huge SQL databases for work.

  • My system is XP sp3.

    Unfortunately, C2 won't allow me to open any project now - it worked fine after installing earlier. Keep getting a 'Failed to create temporary directory' message.

    Also tried to create a new project, but that failed with a Construct2.exe has stopped responding.

    Rebooted, and tried to create a new project - worked - so then tried to open one - also worked. Something is amiss, methinks :/

  • Zenox, do you have Javascript enabled? If you hover your mouse over your comment it should come up with some icons, one should let you edit your post. Note they do lock in after a little while though.

    I allow everything for this site.

    Hovering over my post just brings me options to Report or Quote the post - the same options that are also available to posts NOT posted by me.

  • Don't know if this has been mentioned previously but, I can't see any way to edit a comment made by oneself to a blog post.

  • zenox98, it works in some browsers but not others. I think it's related to a bug I've fixed for the next build.

    Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I just tried with the demo game on Firefox 5 and I get a white screen.

  • It would be awesome for there to be a full, completed game out there for people to see just what CC is capable of, especially one as interesting as this.

    Although the number of people asking for the .cap will probably increase exponentially <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Welcome.

    An example of a platformer is HERE, and numerous other tutorials, including RPG, are just below your post in this very section.

    I would say trying to understand a full game, with all the unique variables that may have been used, without first understanding the basics of the system, would be impossible, regardless of the fact that if someone had created a full game, they would be foolish to release the full source in case any unscrupulous persons just changed a few things and released it as their own work.

    I am a great cynic at heart :)

    Best to try the tutorials then ask loads of questions.
