  • As it states in the manual , spawn creates at either an image point or defaults to the origin, so if you have the origin at the bottom, then it will spawn at the bottom. Maybe add an image point just for the spawn.

    Have you tested for odd object creation in the profiler? Maybe run in debug and see what is happening.

    You have posted two bug reports that don't follow the posting guidelines, so I can almost guarantee they will be closed automatically.

    If you follow the guidelines, I and others besides the devs can either confirm or not whether it is actually a bug.

    I agree with some of the points you've raised, in that Ashley does appear to like to introduce new features that - whilst interesting - are not really of much use to the majority of users.

    As you've mentioned, the recent speech implementation maybe of use to some, but it isn't even supported on all platforms, so why introduce it now?

    There are still many, many 'standard' things missing from C2 which warrant more attention than, what I consider, 'gimmicky' toys.

    It has always seemed to me that what Ashley probably needs is a good Project Manager :)

  • Can you replicate in, for instance, one of the built-in demos? If so, you may have found a C2 bug.

    Other than that, it could be to do with the screen scaling options. What does the profiler show?

  • The latest release is now r158 (see bottom of this page) so you will need to re-export using this version.

  • C2 still needs many things, but with only Ashley really programming, things take time. It is still in active development remember.

  • It seems perfectly logical to me.

    The edge of the 32 pixel wide sprite is in line with a 32 pixel opening, so it can't possibly fit into it.

    It would need to be at least 1 pixel smaller on each side for it to fit.

    It works, but it isn't pretty :)

    I used the original image as an invisible placeholder and pinned the separate collision shapes to it. I also gave the invisible template the drag&drop behavior.

  • This will be automatically closed without the .capx. It's not difficult - just don't include the https or www, or add spaces in the URL at the beginning.
