  • I'm just wondering. I live in Belgium and thus have a belgian apple account.

I would like to know if when turning my belgian account into a developer one does uploading an app puts it in the belgian app store only or do i have the possibility to acess us appstores (the traffic is higher)?

Just wondering in case i need to make an us dev account or not.

  • Cipriux If you have already compiled using the cloud compiler and everything is okay with your account (you are premium if you want to use ads and stuff) I can help you. Write me agaev.vladimir(@)gmail.com and send your compiled file.

Needless to say you must have an apple dev account and provide bundle id.

  • Dude you have two choices, ejecta or cocoonjs.

I advise you to sign out for cocoonjs and make your thing. It's not that difficult

  • Thanks. The formula seems strange but i will try it asap.

  • Here is the thing a round object is falling. You can click anywhere and a star appears. If the star touches the objects it is projected up on the y axis.

I would like the object to be projected depending of the angle between the star and the center of that said object. Because when the object collides with the star it's always projected perfect on the y axis.

    Do you have any formula?

  • Correct, Ejecta, same as CocoonJS, loads all images (but not audio files) on the initial loading of the game.

I just tested my game with the new ejecta exporter and the results as basically the same as with cocoonjs when it comes to memory usage. Note that if you used Ejecta in the past this exporter won't bring anything new to the table.

As for the performance, on the iPhone 5 the game runs smooth both with CocoonJS and Ejecta, maybe a bit smoother with Ejecta but maybe it's just me. On the iPhone 4 both versions have a harder time keeping the framerate up but the CocoonJS version seems to do a better job at it.

Regarding memory management, after the game loaded successfully the memory consumption actually drops, so in my experience there's a good chance that if the game fully loads without crashing, even with low memory warnings, the game probably won't crash while running.

So there is issue with the audio?

  • Hi,

I've seen the 165 build of c2 brings out ejecta support. That's great.

However in the post it's told that ejecta has issues with memory management. What's that? I can't use webstorage event?

  • Yes there is a way to do so. What you will write in the agreement matters. That's called exclusive licence.

If you won lots of money and paid the artist once as you both agreed he can't do anything. Unless it's profit share, then you will have to pay him the accorded percentage.

If he uses the art in other commercial projects and not in his portfolio only you will write a letter of formal notice and then use cease and desist action if he does not obey.

  • taniafbd

Ludei takes a % of your adds? How much?

  • I would be interested, designing graphics myself slows my production speed.

I make games for ios and android. (Arcade style addictive games)

However i can't offer a paid position for now, only profit share.

If you are interested shoot me an mp. (With your portfolio or whatever)

I already have a game in production and it´s about to be finished.

  • There are many solutions. The most logic one would be to use families and set this parameter for thatsaid family so it will affect everymonster.

But you can bypass it with Pick all & random (0,1)-> rotation

    Hope that works

The pathfinder behavior might be an option too.

  • Use for "pick random instance" instead of for each loop

  • Now i have access, i read it.

So the company pays to the client for elements and the client still have the permission to use it for his own?

Someone already used this template, it works?

Someone had problems with the company or the client? what happend?

Depends. He has the right to use his art in his portfolio for instance. But if it's exclusive art (and in most of cases it is) he cannot use it in a different project.

At your level of production it works, i mean if you have the money go a lawyer. If not this contract will be fine.

Many people had problems yep. But many of them haven't had them. Once again, at your level you will lose more money suing someone especially if they are freelancers or low revenue profile persons.

For me those kind of contrats are, you know. Like a good hand shaking. And can work only if the 2 parties are in the same country. If i'm in belgium and you are in US bouahahah you can always try to get me. It will const you thousands of dollars.

  • Hi,

    I study law.

Basically all you need as a developer is the permission from the artist to use his stuff, which is automatically protected by intellectual property rights, in your project under conditions you both agree on.

I don't like the use of company because i have doubts you are a company at all, that means a moral person.

You can use a sui generis contract for profit share (there a are a lot of stuff on the internet you can get inspired by). Just don't forget to write about the designation of the court in case of litigation and write about the case if one of the parties don't accomplish its prestations. Because just saying that the artist must deliver stuff without mentioning the consequences in fact of non delivering is just you know....bluff.

Anyway. I don't want to enter the details because i study in Belgium and here is a different law system from the common-law (uk/america)
