  • The Game of my dreams would be a dark humor management game.

It is about running a graveyard, you have to take care of the graves and the income during the day and take care of the dead (that they stay dead) during the night.

To get more "Clients", you can hire the local hitters to get you more people. To earn more money, you can build Hot Dog Stands, a restaurant, sell flowers or create a amusement park on top of the graveyard... the only barrier is your own imagination.

(Who would not like to visit a haunted house at your local graveyard?)

  • tweeted from the roofs :)

  • can you share a capx? For me it sounds like that you put the on touch action on the text and not the image.

  • will try to have a look into it tonight, if it is not solved until then.

I have an idea on how to fix it (just in my imagination and if I understood the problem correctly). If you like, you can send me a PM in German to explain the problem a bit more detailed :)

  • You can see the differences here: Scirra Shop

Up to a total revenue of $5000, you can go with the Personal Edition, after that you need the Business Licence

  • You are not allowed to earn any money from the games/apps created with the free edition of Construct 2. Also means, no In-Game Ads.

This also includes selling a game on any platform (but you can give it away for free).

  • and to add another point: Have you sent all of the required dll files with the game?

  • it would be as easy to hack, as JavaScript is run locally and the scripts are easily readable. You can use Ajax to create a LogIn System, which would be as secure as you have to run external scripts with a plugin too.

I think the best way at the moment is to host your App on a secure Host using https and either use a PHP Backend with Ajax or a system like clay.io

  • There are:

    XML Entry in the Manual

  • It does. To run Windows 8 on my Netbook, I had to set a resolution, that is not native to my screen size (it has a weird size). After setting the resolution to a value the system supports, the desktop became stretched to fit the screen. While working in normal programs, everything looks fine, but in my installed browsers, images and text looks not weel.

  • just to throw something in I have with my Netbook. This might be your problem as well.

I have installed Windows 8 on my Netbook last weekend (not as bad as initially thought it will be) and ran into a problem that Metro told me that the resolution settings are set too low. I found out, that most Laptop Graphic cards do set a value in the registry to stretch a normal resolution to fit the laptop screen, which mostly have a non native resolution size.

This might be your problem, that your System is stretching the images in your browser to fit the screen which will result in having blurry images just on your computer but not on other.

  • Try Construct 3

  • thanks xelloskun, will update the download in a few minutes with your fix.

Had not the time to figure it out myself ;)

  • I have it running on 4 machines, that I can work on any of them depending on which system I am sitting at the moment. You just need to get sure, that you are the only one who is using it :)

  • You can export your project with plain javascript and minified javascript (which makes it a bit more difficult to ready for everyone).

The "No Programming Required" just says, that you don't need to code JavaScript yourself, to write your game.

Easiest is to download the free version and hava a look. The only difference is, that you are limited to 100 events and a few other things like "Families".

  • The Down Button is not bad, it has no affect on the votes you need and the game disappears from the voters list. I think Valve is already doing it better than Apple at least, if you like to publish on the ITunes store, you need to pay 99$ every year. For steam, it is a one-time fee.

Anyhow, I have submitted a game (was developed over 10 years, with nearly monthy releases with additions and fixes) before the fee came up and took it down again, because I was really annoyed by all the flaming on the graphics (yes, the game does not look great but there are much worse games on Steam).

If you don't work on a 1:1 clone of Battlefield, don't waste your time on Greenlight.
