  • My Nvidia drivers are up to date. Here are my specs:

-CPU: Intel Core I7 4800MQ 2.7 GHz (Max Turbo 3.7GHz)

    -GPU: GeForce GTX880M

    • 16 GB Ram DDR3L 1600MHz
    • Windows 8.1 64 bit

    First Level:

the game runs at 60 fps the whole time. All checkpoints except on the up pathway allow the player to fall through the ground.

    Second Level:

runs at 60 most of the time. When the lightning and rain kick in it can dip to 30 fps and then eventually goes back to 60 fps. The first checkpoint and the fourth allow the player to fall through the ground.

Falling through the ground can sometimes kill you. But you can also exploit the game by falling through the floor and running through the level. This can be done on the second level.

  • I just tried the demo interesting game. Game runs at 60 fps no dips. But on checkpoints the player occasionally falls through the floor and keeps falling. So I have to restart the game over again.

  • If I use my integrated gpu (Intel HD Graphics 4600)

There are large fps dips in both full screen and window mode (unless I downgrade my resolution).

If I use my dedicated gpu (GeForce GTX880M)

There are only large fps dips in Full screen mode (lowering the resolution stops the dips).

Window mode runs at 60 fps at all times on any resolution.

stretching the window size did not change the frame rate.

  • Laptop with a dedicated GPU. I went to the NVIDIA control Panel and changed the settings to have every program use the dedicated video card.

I've also tried playing the game using a integrated card instead of dedicated but the game ran worse.

On windowed mode the game runs fine.

  • Interesting demo.

    • game lags and chugs in full screen mode. I'm talking sub 30 fps. (resolution must be downgraded even on strong pc to run at steady rate)
    • changing the settings from standard to fast to faster has little to no effect on the performance. From what I can tell.
  • Congrats on finishing the game guys.

  • Please correct me if I'm wrong. But isn't spritefont very buggy? I've heard other users claim this.

  • Cool Trailer. The game is looking nice. The soundtrack is good.

  • The lava particles and the explosion particles are nice.

  • solved

  • Diagonal inputs work fine with keyboards and analog sticks but not with controller dpads. I tried to create new controls for the diagonal inputs but they don't seem to work with platform behavior. Can someone please help me ? Thanks for your time. Here is a cap of the basic controls already established.

  • Since CC is DirectX 9 based I think it *should* work on a 4K monitor/resolution, but I have no way of testing that myself

    CC's exe's work on 3k monitors. I don't think 4k should be a problem.

  • ah so its just construct classic being construct classic...

This happens often? I've only seen the texture problem twice. I've never seen the game shut down after the player dies.

  • It only did it the first time I started the exe. The screen never went black just basic hitboxes and floor textures appeared. After that it ran like normal.

  • Interesting game Bartosh. I did run into a few errors. The first time I played the game the character models and world were blank except for the hit boxes and other basic details. And dying does cause the game to crash.
