    Everything was fine, now it isn't no matter how back I revert changes.

  • One thing I'm missing (so far, as far as I know) in construct is the ability to place objects in groups that I can move together in the editor. for example a specific composition of walls and decorations, comprising of many different objects but having the opportunity to move all of them if I select just one. Common functionality in game editors. I'm not speaking about RUN mode, purely in the editor.

    Something like automatic WRAP objects if I select juts one of the previously WRAPPED objects.

    Is there something I'm (as usual) missing?

  • No sprites are deleted when I deleted several object types (each with 600+ sprites), just a json file. Is this intended? Am I missing something here?

  • OK, the problem seems to be a third party shader I'm using. Thing is, I've been using it for a while now and it used to be OK. Now it fails to initialize, an In Promise error. This, btw, only happens with Worker running:

    Uncaught (in promise) Error: failed to find shader program 'bright_gray_fog'

    Any clue what has changed recently(ish) that could affect this?

  • Any idea as to why? My project is huge so narrowing it down is very difficult. Exporting the project, however, or normal/debug preview have no issues.

    I know without sending the project itself its difficult to asses what the issue could be - I'm asking if there are any go to culprits I could check out myself, from the top of anybody's head. The remote preview just stays on a black screen after finishing to load all images/scripts etc.

  • When exporting my game with NW.JS, all imported files are smack in the main folder of the game. Every dialogue json, banter json, ogv etc... . Is there a way to hide these or at the very least make sure they exist in some sub folder? Thanks!

    Also, is there a way to remove F12 starting dev mode from the game.

    Project Bar: 'Select all in project' option, to edit properties for all instances in project

    OK, disregard :).

  • Update from r135:

    "Selecting objects in the Project Bar with no instances in the current Layout View no longer selects instances from across the whole project (avoids unexpected results changing properties in this case)".

    I'm talking about a workaround of this update. I know I can set default values to various objects...but lets say I have 100 layouts and suddenly need to change the values of all of them (read different defaults of Family vars between separate family objects - The torch has 5 strength of light(family var) while the lamp has only three.

  • Hey guys.

    Basically speaking, before I could change the default vars (in the editor) to objects already placed in multiple layouts by selecting the object from the object list. Now It says no instances and all changes I do concern only the one layout. Any other way to change the default values to these vars (for objects already placed) other than using events on layout start?

  • Thanks for the cheering on, but I tried them all and as far as I can tell, there is no FX that does that. Me posting here is a last resort thing. So if anyone can point towards something I may have overlooked I'd be grateful.
