Hi, I'm testing something out and was wondering if there's a way to just detect if someone's talking.
I know there's a C3 template, but it's pretty confusing to me and I want to find a way to figure it out without the objects that change size in the events too.
Thanks.
Thank you so much, it works now!
Ah ok, thanks! I'll try this.
Sorry about this, but I forgot to mention earlier that I need it to work in families because of the different types of towers. Is there any way of accomplishing this with families or multiple different objects?
I'm currently working on a tower defence, and it's going well until I had to make an upgrade system.
Basically, what I want it to do is when one tower is selected, all the other towers aren't selected.
It would really help if someone could give any solutions to fixing this, thanks.
Thanks for the help! Comparing the image point seemed to work in the end. A stupid thing I did was having another event (hidden away from everything else) that made the player move above everything else - but once I found that your advice worked.
Thanks!
I'm currently working on a survival game where you have to collect a certain amount of "Giftys" in order to win the game. I want to make it so the player moves behind the Gifty when they're below it, and in front when they're above it. I want the player to do this for each individual Gifty but s far everything I've tried doesn't work. I was wondering whether anyone would know how to fix this?
Here's my current events in case you need them:

Thanks so much, I put that code in and it works!
(Also, I tried generating different numbers in 4 different text sprites then combining those numbers into one text sprite)
Hi, I'm trying to generate a 4-digit code for my game but all the things I've tried don't work. Does anybody know any way to do this?
I had to add this so I could post this.
Glad I could help, can you send me the link once you are done with the game?
Yes, I will send u the link once I am done.
And there will be boss fights, but it's like an open world game.
Nevermind, I've fixed it!
I just had to make a new instance variable (boolean) and make it so if it is set to true, spikes can spawn.
Thanks for figuring it out (and also going to check it out).
I've updated the drive link if u want to try it out
Ok, it works, it just keeps spwaning them in tho
