    I'm making a grid of sprites that looks OK on the preview (all sprites are connected), but after export all sprites are separated (on Chrome).

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Step 1 - Open CAPX
    • Step 2 - preview (all sprites are connected)
    • Step 3 - export to HTML 5 Website
    • Step 4 - open exported game

    Observed Result

    Sprites aren't connected:

    Expected Result

    They should be (as in the preview):

    • FireFox: (NO)

  • I have a game, where time is critical. You see a puzzle and you have limited time to solve it. You can't even pause the game. But when player opens new tab in the browser - game is automatically freezed.

    So player can easily cheat:

    1. Open a puzzle,

    2. take a print-screen,

    3. open new tab (time counter stops),

    4. solve a puzzle without time limits,

    5. go back to the game,

    6. execute his solution.

    "Pause on unfocus" is set to "No" but this makes no difference.

    This issue occurs only when player open new tab in the same window.

    Is it possible not to stop a game when player opens a new tab?

    Of course there will be rewards, bonuses (time slowdown, ability to desroy enemies, collectables magnet etc.), points and more mechanics (traps, doors, keys, holes etc.).

    I'm not planning level editor for now. Maybe after v.1.0.0

    Updated the game. Changes:

    • changed background and walls texture
    • added shadows - limited visibility (you can't see what's behind walls)
    • changed order of some levels
    • added 2 new levels
    • added HUD (time and collectables left)
    • added time limit (not sure about it)
    • teleporters (portals) now works both directions
    • added WASD controls (arrow keys remain active also)
    • changed choke-points in some levels

  • Is it possible to make grid offset in the editor?

  • Ashley was the java update necessary? Sorry for asking but I'm also building Android APK's (different game engine) on this computer and I can't update Java to 1.7 because it crashes compiling to APK. I have to stick to Java 1.6.

    Is it possible to get back to previous version of java in Closure Compiler in Construct 2?

    I'd like to know your opinion about gameplay of my simple game.

    It's only at alpha gameplay stage (or prototype). There's 10 test levels at the moment.

    Move with arrow keys or WASD. The "tutorial" is written on the floor.

  • Thank you for example. Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem because:

    • pipes will be placed at different angles (not only 90 deg.)
    • and this isn't very smooth.

    I don't have idea how to make that water move fluently?

    Any ideas? Should I use any plugin?

  • Problem Description

    I have music and sound effects in OGG and M4A (converted from MP3) in Sounds and Music folders.

    When I test my game everything is OK - sounds and music is played on all browsers. But after exporting and uploading it online, my game doesn't play any audio on IE. On other browsers audio is played OK.

    • Listen to the music
    • Every 2 sec - listen to the sound

    Observed Result

    After exporting there's no audio in IE

    Expected Result

    Audio should be played on IE.

  • Would it be possible to make C2 built-in image editor as 1 window despite 4 different ones?

    Consistent window is much more handy and easy to use specially when I'm working on 2 monitors.

    Especially Magistross - your example is incredibly helpful. I've changed expression newline to "," to separate elements by commas despite new lines.

    I have one problem with it, when I change JSON into:

    there's problem with reading nested data (eg. "name").

    Joskin - I understand. But to import JSON into array I should have "{"c2array":true,"size":[10,2,1]" and i should have an array with predefined size.
