Browser: Execute javascript "some javascript code" & playerPoints & "more js code"

Thank you. This was too easy to figure it by myself

  • I have Javascript code that has to do something with variable from my game.

But when I put this code in Browser - Execute Javascript it doesn't see that variable.

    I get this:

How to refer to variables (initiated in C2) in Execute Javascript action of Browser object?

  • Anybody? Is there any way to make secure games with Google Analytics?

  • To make particles appear in a rectangle area we have to set "X randomiser" and "Y randomiser" to any positive values.

How to do that particles appear in a circle (not rectangle)?

  • But wouldn't this select sometimes the same objects?

  • But how to limit that "pick by comparision" to 50?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Is it possible to select x from y objects depending on objects variable value.

    For example:

There is 1000 objects. All of them have variable takeMe.

I'd like to select 50 of them and only those where takeMe="yes".

  • When I export game in C2 as HTML5 website without minifying script and put Google Analytics tracking code into to HTML - everything is OK.

    But:

When I export game in C2 as HTML5 website with minify script option ON and put Google Analytics tracking code into to HTML - the game starts to behave strange and unpredictably. For example "goto layout" doesn't work and animations doesn't change on some sprites.

I think that this is because minify (obfuscation) changes names of functions from "goToLayout(01);" to something like this "ga(01);", and google track code looks like this "ga('send', 'event', 'game', 'x', 'y');". So there may be conflicts with method names.

    But that's only my guess.

Have you experienced any similar problems with Google Analytics.

  • Allchix, thanks!

    I didn't know that.

  • Sorry for making a pressure, but when will be new build of C2?

It is very important for me because of this bug: (It,s certainly not a dropbox bug as my client hosts it on his own server. My client is very angry on me because of this...)

  • Thanks. I've found it there

  • Is it possible to get operating system (Windows, MacOS, Linux etc.) that game is running on?

  • I've also noticed very bizarre behaviour in sprite displaying in other games exported in r170.

Please take a look at this game: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/176 ... index.html

It looks OK in other browsers, but on Safari doesn't.

Games exported in R168 doesn't have this problem.

  • Problem Description

Sprites disappear in Safari after export.

    Test game: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/176 ... index.html

Try on different browsers - only safari shows blank white.

    Attach a Capx

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/176 ... test1.capx

    Description of Capx

    Contains any sprites

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Step 1 - Open CAPX
    • Step 2 - preview in safari (all sprites are visible)
    • Step 3 - export to HTML 5 Website
    • Step 4 - open exported game in safari

    Observed Result

    Sprites aren't visible

    Expected Result

    They should be
