  • I like reorchestrations like this one, this one, or this one.

  • Not sure if it is actually a good thing to watch if you are fan of the series, but well... if you happen to have 2 hours free

  • Oops, I just realised this topic is still in the Construct Classic area, I'm basically trying to do this effect in C2.

  • From experience, leave all word building behind, because it's your strenght, and you can just take a note when you get an idea.

Break down your projects into mechanics, how does the camera behave, how does the character behave, what are the movements you will require, what are the elements in the world that can be interacted with and how will they behave...

Once you get all these, you can prioritize them, and get started on C2. You will then realise that things you thought simple are not and that they can conflict each other.

You can always justify later why this wonderfully advanced civilization decided to banish all forms of elevators and adopt staircases in all their ships.

  • You don't kick beginners in the gnads to make them learn, when you could emulate the whole pack by showing goals.

We need a small pool, a big pool and a trophy shelf.

  • I found back the .cap from long time ago, but I have no idea how to set the private variable

    <img src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/61894646/lerp%20variable.JPG" border="0" />

It always tells me "unknown expression 'offset': this is not a system expression or variable name in this scope). I checked the manual but it justs shows the function as lerp(a,b,x)... I tried "offset", 'offset', offset, offset.value and other I could think of... no success

Below the old cap, any help is welcome!

  • The lab space is a great idea, so people can experiment safely, but for people who want to upload their finished ghost shooter, I think a greenlight system would be more acceptable than an elimination one...

We could create a small poll place where everyone can upload their entries, and from there the monthly best ones are upgraded to the arcade. The number of games on the arcade could also be limited, like 30 of them, so it could change from time to time.

  • It's not too late, but I cant make it work. Seems Timedelta is not recognised as well. I'll try a bit more before opening a proper help topic for that.

    Thanks!

  • You could have environmental hazards, dangerous things that glob will die on, different kind of globs with different behaviour...

You could also have water or lava slowly rising from the bottom, it would make the whole thing much more challenging.

  • Very nice setting/mechanic, but I basically just let all the blogs fall to the floor so far, except for the ones who land on food, they stay stuck there.

  • But some were... colour coded!

    very hard to scan

    Or just plain fun!

    Damn, I miss manuals.

  • You can save text files into pdf through Word (Microsoft Office) or Google Drive (free)

  • I think you could focus on the souncloud list, maybe on the first page, much easier to browse, and fast in the topic.

Else you got quite a range of works, nice job!
