  • What's the condition of failure? Can you win? How fast would it be? What are the possible things that I, as the player, can do?

    That said, the idea could work and it could take many forms, you could do a RPG, a tower defence, a stealth game, a beat'em up, a puzzle game... whatever you wish. The less literal you are on the drug part, the better it would work, but it's the number of factors to take inconsideration and how to represent them that would be daunting.

  • There is no reason to favor one, you should use both for what they do best.

    For example I automate scripts in PS to get a batch of reference shots, port the images over to Illustrator, draft up forms, paste them back to PS for effects, hue and contrast tweaks and paste back to Illustrator for page layout... and so on.

  • Exciting news! What was initially a hobby on rainy sundays is now taking a life of its own! Thanks to all the people who proposed their services, skills and kind words... I now have two talented people contributing to this project!

    Wounds, best known for his amazing work on Kairo, will be creating the soundtrack and lead the sound direction of the game! He is a very dedicated person with great insights in storytelling and contributed a lot to shape my random bits of story into something meaningful.

    C-7 is a well-rounded C2 coder/composer/designer who will design an interactive audio system to get organic tracks that change with the environment. He will also create the sound effects and give a greatly needed hand on the development of the game engine in Construct 2!

  • I started to put all locations on a map to help visualize things. It's far from complete, but it really helps the world construction!

  • Burvey I did got that comment before, but I still find my little burd cute, so I'm not sure whether to modify it or not. It looks less obvious with other characters besides, though:

    I did reduce the head a bit but I may need to reduce it further. Though it's not a bad reference, I would prefer the character to be more original, and less "like something else"
