  • Thanks madster for this amazing useable example

It gave me a headache to make a game working in every resolution, especially if you design in 4:3

and want to show it good too in 16:10 and 16:9

This is a good start for everyone that wants to make a serious game that works in every resolution.

    Keep up the good work

Background looks cool, but it makes bullets hard to see, good luck

Yeh I'm finding it hard to get a decent colour for them, even though there hard to see I've got to the end of my 5 minute level, I'll look into finding an alternative image or colour, thanks for the feedback.

You can make it maybe darker to set the WebWhiteFilter to black and Opacity to 60% or something, its easy to do in the Common Properties of the Background Image.

    Goodluck

  • Nice game,

I like the idea to use the google maps as background, gameplay is not bad, but you should work a little better at balancing

Looks like that the power up's are random and not at score, a counter (global) that count how many enemy's you have shoot down shall be more realistic to deserve a powerup that give you 200% fire power.

Don't see it as negative, I only wanna give you some support, you're game is in my Construct Favorite Demo's, and there are only a few in that folder, the only ones I play when It's alsmost global('bedtime') + (2 hours and a few more)

    Keep up the good work

  • Thanks a lot, you have helped me out a nightmare.

I need to trigger now the speed down before it hits the rock/block, then it looks fine, but I agree, its better to avoid using this kinda stuff, but anyway I really needed this in a level to solve a kinda quest what I had in mind so thanks again .

  • Hi everyone,

I'm new at this board, just playing for 10 days with construct and love it.

At the moment i'm stuck with physics behavior, and hope someone can help me to get this example working.

The player green have to push away the gray blocks.

First block looks if it's working fine but when the blocks are laying still it won't work and you can just fly trough it.
