  I'm not a fan of Gravatar either, but using the premise of it being a security risk is silly. It is no more a security risk than creating an account anywhere else.

  Personally I would prefer to use the old avatar system, by linking to an image in DropBox... but signing up for Gravatar wasn't THAT big of a deal.

  I say it like, SEA-RAH... but less, uh... enunciated.

  The "sci" is less like "sci-fi" and more like "scissors", and the rra is just, well.... like "bra" without the "b"?

  Such funny words.

  I guess another way to describe it would be to say the word "syrup" but leave the "p" off of the end.

  If you are already familiar with software like MMF, MMF2, TGF, etc... then Construct should be second nature for you already. The event system works in a very similar way (but better :D) and over-all Construct is FAR more powerful, and also performs a lot better.

  You shouldn't have any issues at all really, but if you do just ask the community!

  Some id like to see are sound notification on any msg, or on name mention. Flashing the tab upon activity, along with the name changing to "people said stuff", or "your name mentioned"

  This is also on my wish-list.

  What I use the most is logging (not to be confused with IRC nick identification. Lucid, I'm looking at ya!)
