    Ah yes indeed. One big BG it is. I wonder if the problem goes away if it's made of lots of BG objects? Probably will... but I don't know if I could be arsed with that :/

    The most important opinion has been noted. Now, I was indeed thinking high boots, but from a *ahem* "realism" perspective I was thinking knee high lol.

    (My statement stays even though it is redundant due to your massive ninja edits )

    I also had a cool idea to animate the pony tails instead of drawing frames... they could be made of some "hair" sprites that would bob and dangle about the place as she (to quote an awesome quote) "flies around like a coat hanger in a clothes dryer".

    I'm pretty open to suggestion for colour scheme as well... I'd like to try and keep her fairly neutral so she doesn't look like a clown, but make her stand out enough from the backgrounds (which will primarily be greys and browns etc) so you can see where you are going. If anyone can be assed coluring her in, be my guest... credit will be given for awesomeness in scheme decoration.

  • So I heard I sketched out the new character concept design. Let me know what you guys think... I was gonna send to Deadeye first, but I figure the more the merrier

    Chamber especially does it really bad for me. Even inside a large tile on it's own you can see the split between the texture separating:

    And that large gray area is all one bg tile, it's not even split up into separate tiles :/

    Nah it's smallish tiles... I think 256x256 or something, but it only does it vertically not horizontally. The background layer is larger, like 1000x1000 or something massive, and that does it as well. :S

  • First, some of us really need a SLIDER BAR ... and that's not ridiculous... you know thats a good way to adjust sound for any games... I know that you're working hard to fix bugs... but a slider bar is an easy plugin to build... Anyway i would'nt know why u could'nt listen at my suggestions if you are really working at making your app better!

    I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of my mouse pressing the IGNORE button.

    Slider bars are doable with 3 or 4 events.

    Yeah I saw you made some of those for your game... would it be too much to ask if you post a cap in uploads as to how that works? They would be super handy!

    I like the menu options and stuff, that's really well done!

    Everything seems cool mate, works well. The only glitch I found is if you climb up a rope/vine and while still holding UP, you press JUMP and you will fall to the bottom but you won't start climbing again and you can't move or jump again if you continue to hold UP. As soon as you let go of UP, everything goes back to normal. Other than that, it's sweet as!
