  • zenox98 Added this just as as an interesting thing. But feel free to move it to the 'Extending Construct 2' section.

newt Not sure. But this one does https://github.com/skeeto/webgl-particles

  • Something for plugin makers?

A lightweight JavaScript library for creating particles.

jojoe looks like you still don't get it Anonnymitet already understood why I wrote that. So let me explain it to you. What I mean to say is that Steam is not everything. For some reason PC players and most of the new developers think Steam is a holy grail of "publish my game - get rich immediately".

"Without steam support = no serious game developers" - That statement clearly insult everyone who is interested only in making games for mobiles or web browsers either free or paid. It looks like, if you don't have your game on steam you are not serious game developer.

Do you even know what Steam is?

He wants to publish his game with the biggest game vendor on the planet, and you question if he is real or not?

The biggest place on the PLANET to have your game listed, That is what steam is.

Are you for real too? Or maybe you just felt a big need to add some more nonsense to that specific quote I made.

"Without steam support = no serious game developers".

    Are you for real?

  • I was not Scirra Store should have a place for free stuff as well not just paid only.

Anyways, there were few people here already who tried to make plugin repository for everyone to use and have easy access to, so let's see what you will come up with.

  • Wouldn't be better to just make a place in scirra store where all plugins (free or paid) could be listed, so everyone at anytime could find what he/she needs. Without using any other 3rd party stuff to download other 3rd party stuff

  • Yeah, I read about it some time ago, and from what people saying on different portals/forums etc it looks like Electron is a bit better than NWjs.

But that's what they say,.. I didn't had a chance to play with it myself so I'm curious how C2 projects run using it.

  • None of the exporters need for player to have C2 installed to run.

  • You do not have permission to view this post

  • You can use loops like Repeat

    +System: Trigger once

    +System: Repeat 4 -> create/spawn sprite

This will spawn 4 sprites at once

  • In illustrator check if your export options are set correctly and if your tiles are pixel precise - you should be working with pixels not standard units, else you might get what you describes.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I would say "Tools and Resources" since you are asking about the tool

  • Leaving aside very badly posted bug report, btw. NO MATTER WHAT you should always stick to the bug guidelines! It was not written this way to help you but to help Ashley find and fix the issue.

... that is actually true. Noticed that many times myself but always get distracted fixing the mess it created and forget to post about it.

With many events and event sheet "Search event" is indeed not working right. Just like the cmontville89 explained. Sometimes when events are minimized, in groups or just in deep sub-event tree Search may not pick every single event you are looking for.

  • To use with C2? or just in overall?

For my first question - there is no need to use any kind of texture packers in C2. Construct automatically creates best possible sprite sheets on export.

For my second question - you post this in wrong section of the forum.
