  • Where is your attempt to compare? There is no comparison in there

  • I'll try to take a look tomorrow and give some feedback

  • Sorry to hijack, it's a related question though.

If creating "screen size" levels, would it be best to use the dictionary method or to simply create multiple layouts using the tile map?

  • Construct 3 is a conciderabke length of time away, so don't hold your breath waiting for it... Use construct 2, enjoy construct 2, then shed a tear of glee when construct 3 comes out

  • Multiply by 100, round it, decide by 100

  • You could put the enemy movement into a group and deactivate the group in the project. Then have it activated ice the player clicks start. It's worth splitting your code into sections so you're not constantly checking things that don't need to be checked. Like menu clicks in game, or game logic in menus

  • Can you post a code snippet where you think the issue might be or the project file if you're happy to do so? Then we can take a closer look for you

  • I'm on mobile so can't really screenshot the error, but I got a error about Sql deadlock on the screen when trying to access the forums, a refresh solved it but looks like you're server is reaching its limit and might need to be improved I think it said something about another service was using the resources etc.

  • No problem, happy to help!

  • Ah a nice little plugin! I'll be sure to use this in the future

  • See the image below:

Read that, it'll give you plenty of information about the movement behaviour

  • Well any laptop seems to work well really... technically you should build it (or at least test it) on the worst machine you expect your users to have. I personally use a HP Envy M6, I find the battery life to be pretty decent if you turn your brightness down. I tend not to use my touchscreen much these days, I personally find it more of a gimmick, I never really use it unless I fold it into a tablet. (Obviously it's always easier to play angry birds that way though )

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • russellit Thank you, C2 is indeed quite powerful but what I like is that the community here is very supportive.

I'll try the PC platform first to see how it goes. And then will make plan to port to mobile later on.

Yes I've found them all very helpful and polite (so far at least ). Send me a message once you release your game as I'd be interested to take a look. (O reply here as I check anything that I've posted in)

    really what?
