  • It's essentially the last page you sent, but as a permanent thing. Similar to what you'd do in Photoshop or Illustrator with their "Group" and "Ungroup" function

  • Hi GaMan, thanks for your reply... that's certainly a useful feature that I didn't know about (and will now be using) but I was thinking about it more from a design point of view. For example, if I wanted to move a whole area with everything within it but without having to try and highlight them together each time. So I could move something like a "Menu" or something like that

Hmm, I did this, but it still didint work. Am I supposed to put the events in the group in a specific order?

I think his suggestion was to have it start as a disabled group and then activate it when you click the start button.

My idea was to just add the action directly to the "Turret"

  • 7Soul's suggestion would work for you. Add them all into a container, then when you move the head (F.e) then the body will come with it.

Any reason you're not using a larger sprite to do the whole thing as one?

  • Just a quick thought... are you on a laptop? As lots of laptops disable mouse input while any keys are being pressed.

    Just a thought

  • You could run add "Add object to Target" when the button is clicked otherwise. But the option above would work too. I like disabling and starting groups... it's a good way to not check everything all the time

  • Just wanted to say a quick thanks for these videos! I actually found them on YouTube when searching for tutorials and then noticed them here after. They're very detailed and easy to understand how you're doing things... I've learned a lot from them. Thanks again

  • Hi, I've had a quick look and not found the same topic, so apologies if this has already been suggested.

I personally would benefit from grouping objects together, so then I can move whole sections rather than individually. I think it would also be useful if this became an entity so I could (f.e) set visibility to hidden to hide a full section without doing each item individually.

Again, sorry if this has already been suggested or is already in. (Only starting playing around 24 hours ago)
