I like the idea of being able to give more things descriptions. Objects, layouts, variables.. why not?
You could always use Image Manipulator to convert the image to a BMP, if you have to use PNGs.
It's not a bug, there's no builtin Windows support for loading images other than BMP .

Post of the year (the original).
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I've added them for the next build, but yes, that's why you'd use it .
Just a note, you may wish to use a tiled background instead of a Sprite for a healthbar, if you want anything other than a solid colour.
Lets you load images, do stuff with them, then save them to disk, ie, rotations/flips/blurs.
A Boolean variable type is certainly easy to do, but what would Image be used for?
I've upped the limit for 'popular words' to appearing in 5% of posts to 15%. Hopefully you'll be able to found things easier now.
It shouldn't remove behaviors, so I'll look into that.
Also, yes, that statement looks fine .
Yes, perhaps before the Timeline object my answer would have been different, but since then, it's not only better, but much easier to do it inside Construct.
Holographic games.. interesting thing to explore .
I think a more elegant way is to have a 'Comment' object in the Event Wizard, which when clicked simply goes to the parameter stage.
How very odd, all i can imagine is the image PHP plugin was malfunctioning or something.
Very nice.. would be interesting to see how this is done .
The sounds could use a little work, as could the acceleration. Perhaps fade the sound in as the tank gets faster, fade it out as it slows down/stops.
