  • Sorry, but it wasn't out for that long; you'd have to be rather unlucky to have got a substantial amount done in a broken build .

That said, there'll probably a .9 rather soon, David kinda messed up families so..

  • That doesn't really make logical sense; if I have a global online object reading events from global objects, and I don't want it to in one layout, why should it have to? What about a global sprite? Where will it spawn in layouts it isn't placed?

I think it should need to be placed in every layout it'll be used in.

If I create a new direct x game, create a M&K object in layout 1 and set it to global and create a new layout, the M&K still will only show up in layout 1 and not in layout 2.

I'll put it into the bug tracker.

This isn't a bug, you need to place a global object in every layout you intend to use it in, using copy and paste.

  • Yeah, the actual Windows progress bar can't do custom graphics, I'd just use a tiled BG or Sprite with hotspot set to the left.

  • Okay, fair enough, I'll add a field to specify a family/object type to avoid for the next build.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I think maybe ScreenMouseX/Y would be more appropriate.

It'd break existing caps with it though, would it not? (If the expression name is actually changed.)

  • I think I'll be entering this, hopefully with a little art help from David! Thanks for the heads up.

  • It won't let you move into objects that are marked solid, if that's any help.

  • Not many people seem to know that if you paste a big image in, and hit crop, it resizes to the size of the image .

  • That is indeed rather interesting, I've had some curious results

  • Excellent! This escaped my attention until now.

We definitely needed a universal place to put downloads and projects and such, I hope this will be the place .

  • Done .

  • We could do, but the builds we release generally have been tested, just not to the extent which hundreds of people using it will show, there'll still be some issues - even if very small - in most builds till 1.0.

I like the idea of it personally, so I'll probably do it.

  • We'll put it on the autoupdater later today, so long as no problems are found.

I'd download it though, it's far stabler than .7.

  • You may want to get the latest build, then .
