  • I don't think it's possible to change the time scale directly from the SDK, yet. I could add it when/if this becomes available though.

Also I haven't yet planned to make it navigatable via arrow keys; there's no 'current selection' element to it, though we'll see. (You can't really take advantage of an inventory via arrows, alot of it is dragging items/repositioning/click to use, etc.)

  • Unexplainable, unfathomable.

  • Most parameters have some kind of description, explaining their functionality. Obviously documentation offers a better explanation sometimes, but the majority of the time it's no more detailed or even in existence, so there wouldn't really be much it could show.

One thing we could do is add a link to several places which offers help on plugins; like when inserting them, when working with them in the event wizard, etc.

  • I've added 'Set Write Speed' and 'Get Write Speed' for the next build to make this easier. Also a 'Write Finished' condition.

  • Sounds about right.

I'm putting some finishing touches on; I think I'll post it in the uploads forum for beta testing so it's perfect for 0.99 when I'm done.

  • They haven't really been pushed back per-se, we didn't anticipate releasing 0.99 in February (barring unforseen amounts of time); the renderer's nearing completion, and object folders too, so we're just looking into the new control system and some other stuff, hopefully it's all done in a couple of weeks.

There probably will be an intermediate build to solve some silly issues with the current build, but whether any of these features will be in it I'm not sure.

  • It'll be interesting to see how this works in practice, for sure, even if it's a few years down the line..

  • Definitely. It's fairly simple to pitch in with an article on an object, with maybe a .cap file to show some techniques. If every user does that, it reduces the workload on everyone considerably, and gets us good docs quick.

  • I would like simple explanation in the upper tab in for the event wizard , for everything selectable.

Won't it be simple to integrate ? All text could be taken from the wiki definitions or so.

    Hm?

  • They're both there, just hidden in the properties (I run lowish res) .

OK, thoughts on this so far?

Should I add a grid feature?

  • Why would you want to remove it? What if you then need to edit it or its properties?

  • For that I'd recommend putting your character in a container with a hash table object or array, which you can store lots of stuff in, maybe?

  • Tick the 'destroy at startup attribute'.
