  • It's of much more use if you cut your huge tileset into smaller tilesets, which can then be imported in this method.

  • It obviously won't have to be amazing, but clearly it'll get used a lot even if we just stick with our current user base and don't expand - which is very unlikely. A lot of people here have experience in indie game developing and online play, so I'd imagine it'd have to be able to cope with about 100 connections at minimum.

  • The default angle is 0, which is facing right. The image of the arrow faces north, so it'll always look like it's off by 90.

  • Could use the timer behavior, also.

  • Love it .

  • The chat's definitely picked up since this post, so that's a good start .

  • I believe it used to work, but you're right, there's a few problems with it that need sorting to make it clearer/100% working. I'll try do it now.

  • 31) fsck the idea with my 'level sheets' - that's a load of crap. We can just organize everything in folders. I created a quick mockup:

I really like this one, I'll see what can be done.

  • I'd say generally if you do have something which users may mistake as a bug, then you should add it to the FAQ.

In this case, clicking the property in question shows what it is intended to do, which should be clear enough if you have doubts over why it isn't working.

  • One third may have interested, but I wonder how many would actually utilise it or implement it well ..

Remember that there's no public server or person who's willing to pay for a dedicated host for it at the mo, so even if one appeared right now it's use would be limited. We've considered that when we have more donations we'll set one up, but we couldn't afford it right now.

  • Very nice indeed .

  • That's very strange; all I can think is the behavior properties or something didn't transfer properly.. check them over incase that happened .

  • Yes, that's the better method for visible objects (like players), just copy/paste them over. It won't create a new Sprite, just a new instance.

  • If you need it soon, the plugin SDK and some tutorials are available in the appropriate forum.

It's a timely feature and we'll be focusing on other things first.
