I have quickly ported this one for you .. finally i hope your hi-pass is done now.

    and the fx file:

Ok... the rest is lowpass filter... it will take more time but let me work slowly <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

Hi Gigatron, the hi-pass effect works well on images, however, when I try to apply it to a Text Object in C2, all of the text simply turns to solid blocks of colours... The Gausian blur effect cited in this thread does seem to work with C@ text objects...

    Any chance you can take a look? <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

  • Nope, strange.. but i'l leave it here for now.

Hope to get it working in the future.

As purplemonkey said it works on his pc, so its probably just a glitch in mine.

    Thanks for the help!

    "Have you tried rebooting, Sir?"

  • Ashley and Gigatron, let me try the filter below -- given what you have shared, I might be good already

  • ced64k, check out rexrainbow 's game board plugin work -- this should get you off to a good start...

  • Hey Gigatron, any further updates for low-pass?

  • rexrainbow has done some great work in this field already -- check out the following plugin:

I've asked him to add a "DrawTile" feature to actually draw the iso-maps to the screen, but I haven't heard back in a while...

  • There is a geolocation media object you can add -- that might be step one?

  • Now plugin and demos available as Photon Scirra SDK: https://www.photonengine.com/en-US/Real ... construct2

It's the same plugin as before except that self-hosted servers support added (which is not very useful until Photon server v4 is available). So you most likely do not need to update.

..."which is not very useful until Photon server v4 is available)" ... When will that be ThePhotons?

  • Hey rexrainbow, do you have an example capx available where you use your (#awesome) plugins to load a isometric .tmx file from Tiled into C2?

    Would love to see one

    Cheers!

  • qngnht I ran into this a while ago too as I recall... I believe I had varying success depending on the network I was testing things on. For instance, while at work, while prototyping something for work, I'd experience what you are seeing. However, at home, on my home network, I would not.

However, even at home, I was never able to get past the following -- WebRTC connections being dropped when an app (AKA the server) goes to sleep... There is about a 1 minute window (depending on Browser WebTRC implementation) before a minimized app will kill the connection to all of it's peers (for battery saving purposes I'd imagine)

    Good luck to you!

  • teacherpeter If you change the "Use Default Controls" to false, then you can use Simulate Control e.g "Jump", "Left" and "Right" to be different keys as I recall...

  • Gigatron -- thanks so much, can hardly wait for the low-pass

    Cheers!
