  • Try putting your other conditions together with the condition on space key is pressed instead of using them as a sub condition.

  • To add some unpredictability, you could simply set the density, friction, elasticity or any of the other options to CHOOSE or RANDOM pick a certain number of values, and set it to every few seconds. That way, you are guaranteed to get some different results each time.

  • You can use two conditions to do this.

    For example:

    ObjectA is overlapping DoorA

    ObjectB is overlapping DoorB

    .....(Your events)

Just right click on your condition and add another condition. C2 allows you to ass as many condition as you want.

  • Thanks BluePhaze, I didn't know that.

ArcadEd, thanks so much! It is always motivating to see what is achievable with hard work and a bit of creativity <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • ArcadEd, you've got one future student here <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I know it has nothing to do with C2, but if you would be so kind as to share some experience in getting your game out there, such as with publishers or going solo, that would be fantastic. Of course I don't expect you to just throw your inside contact and secret information out there, just a few pointers on what to do, expect and prepare would be nice. Just thought it would be a perfect ending with your course.

  • DUTOIT, yup, my phone is using my wifi network. I went inside my router to have a look at the settings and my android phone is given a different ip address, but it is shown and supported in my router. Haha that is why it is weird. My phone can connect to the Internet and everything, just can't connect to the games.

Haha will just have to slowly take a look.....although....it might be a good thing. Hehe better to test my games on my old SINGLE CORE phone. If it runs well there, it should run well on any phone <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • DUTOIT, I don't know what else to say but thank you! THANK YOU! It finally works for me! So excited. Although I found out that one of the problems was my HTC one phone. I don't know why, but it couldn't connect at all. I tried my old phone, a sony ericsson and it works. So will have to test with my old phone and find a solution for the new one.

    Oh, and did I mention thank you <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • DUTOIT, Thank you so much. I will patiently wait for your tutorial. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • DUTOIT, I installed it and followed your instructions, was able to get the game to run on my browser, but when I type the exact same url into my phone, it shows the same message as with C2 preview, that the website is currently not available. What do you think might be the problem?

  • Thank you times a million!! I really appreciate it! Hehe it's time to test and try it out!

  • DUTOIT, hehe just in the nick of time. I just installed XAMPP and I think I stared at the instructions and guide for a solid 30 minutes with a blank mind. Hehe I will download instant wordpress now.

Just had a look at it, and I just want to ask and see if I got the idea correct. Instant Wordpress is used to view wordpress websites. But it should work with html in general, that is why I will be able to test my html5 game by placing it into the correct instant wordpress folder?

  • DUTOIT, thanks I really appreciate it! I will give C2 preview a few more tries, but if I can't I'll use your approach. Again, thanks! I think I must have gone a few years bald just last night <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Tekniko, yup I typed the exact url from the preview window, the one with my IP address along with the port number. Yes, I run the preview first before trying to preview on my phone. I tried refreshing on both ends as well, and even go a bit deeper into the game as well with no luck.

lennaert, yup I run C2 as administrator every time.

Ashley, thanks for that. Sorry, I am really bad at networking. I will try searching for information on checking the LAN ports. Will update as soon as I can.

    Thank you guys!
