    if its any good when its done itll attract alot of ppl from TDC and other sites to try out construct, none of what its gonna do will be possible in any other game making app

  • well, the old thread was collecting cobwebs so ill post this new .cap here, note that the plat movement is temporary, im working on a custom that allows some physics interaction if i can, and im also making some non physics gear engines, because not all gears need to have physical reactions., it tends to be cpu intensive at times

  • i second this, it would streamline importing a string of sprites with lots o angles

    starcraft did it like this, if u ever modded it or opened the animations up

  • oh shiz will ur plugin be able to load actual mesh info from .3ds or .obj files? id also like to thank you for this, we can all see you care for construct otherwise you wouldn't be making a plugin for a program where 3d is of less importance.

  • i was asking for this 2. id also like to not that it should also flip all the imagepoints andhotspot unlike the in- editor flip, this would be usefull and is very simple, something which K&P had i must add

  • this really shows there should be a 3d mesh object, with all the pitch yaw roll functions of the box, but a "load mesh" feature, i mean, cmon youve made one within the program! and its taking no control from the GPU. ontop of load mesh later on we could give it texture "diffuse" and mapping coords which are also loaded in.

    i know 3d isnt like sprites, but the ability to just load meshes like youre doing here would be great and unlock alot of creativity, a simple crossection of the shape could be used for collisions, just like the 3d box

  • the movement engine was working before but i scrapped it because i wasnt happy how it handled moving platforms, im currently working on a new movement engine which uses normals that i have to place every where, and it supports circular collisions so that you can slip around ontop of gears realisticaly, but the game has been delayed somewhat since i cant use my left hand right now

  • when you get this to draw wire frame you should implement some perspective by calculating z depth from camera and making appropriate adjustments and i have a question, how are you so awesome? i m just thinking about all the sweet games i could make with this awwwwww, and shrinking the blue point to a pixel looks much nicer, maybe just subdivide your model 2-3 times for now, itl make the shape way more readable,
