  • Scirra Construct 2, made making games fun and easy, it's hard to believe how innovation this toolkit compared to other engines that don't require coding skills for most functions, weather you novice or pro, you are not limited for what you can make with C2.

Thank you so much Scirra Team <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />, >>> Indie Game Developer from Qatar.

Are you using C2 v92 ? and did you check this blog ?

    construct.net/en

the slow animation frame, might if you used older version of C2, where images loaded separately which may delay and slow some animation frame, depending on cpu memory and net speed.

  • as i believe (not too far), multi touch could be supported with phonegap, appmobi or cocoonJS, however , android (v.2.3 i think) their browser don't support multi touch.

  • I understand your problem faceyspacey i just suffered with IE7/8 in my university with their desktops, many organizations wont update their system after 4 or 5 years, and today browsers improving so much fast than before, and I'm glad you made it work finally, and also Ashley is totally right too for not wasting time and resources on outdated technology, but again i sensed you made it work by yourself, i believe this a good reason to let those who refuse to use new browsers to try HTML5, even it's limited with IE7/8 and not worth to support, but it's enough to grab their attention to update, convincing them to HTML5 . <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hey, that's fun, I love the effects, I'm surprised it's run stable for me, despite my laptop is garbage, it's great for 10 minutes projects <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />.

some competitors, may steal some ideas from C2 todo-list [;D]

  • nice game, still lagging a little with my firefox, but i know it's not your game fault, my laptop is outdated now.

    good luck :)

  • thekid the pokki store looks great, i was just wondering about performances ? i tried to play tupsu, but the loading screen say no webgl and take too long which it's didn't play in the end ?, about horsemen very nice game and polished it was lagging a little but it's playable and sounds played very well, the only concern i got is about apps performances in general.

but overall, love the apps and games in pokki, if C2 export pokki apps directly it would be a neat feature.

  • it's matter of time to wait performance improvement for HTML5.

  • Im not sure, if i saw doom clone or something similar made with C2, for HBgames.org contest.

last time i checked blender, i just love the maya interface which became more design friendly compared to old interface that force you to use shortcut keys all time. :)

Bryce is just a good 3d terrain / natural software.

if you are looking for a simple and easy software for 3D, I recommend you to check Deled3D http://www.delgine.com/

it's very simple and easy to learn, compared to AC3D, it's support animation which is good <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • if you want more customization for phonegap it's better you use Eclipse, don't use phonegap website.

here more insight about phonegap limitation compared to manual way:

beside phonegap and appmobi, another option called CocoonJS in WIP to integrated with C2, i think it will be free alternative to appmobi <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
