  • Don't know, but shark assault didn't want to open on kongregate. Refreshed twice but keeps hanging on white screen...

    Didn't try the other ones.

  • Love this game, simple but addictive

For sure download it as soon I'm home.....was a nice to kill some time at work

  • Never thought about that one

  • I think it also depends for which format you create the game. If for desktop you can make the level sizes much bigger then when you create for mobile. Just make sure that once you fly pass certain objects, you let them destroy by the system so eventually when you progress through your level, you also clearing memory space. That's how I do it, there are many way to tackle this problem.

  • I find it pretty hard to upload and mainly resize the pictures for this forum. I understand that I have to upload them to my own space, but once that's done and you want to resize them, the fight begins. I see more people having this issue. Can it not be easier to resize the picture so it fits nicely in the post?

  • HALLUCINATING

  • I must say this forum helped me uit quite a lot. But ofcourse, if you ask questions that can be read in the manual or tutorials, people tend to neglect them. Go through the tutorials, read the manual and if you still have questions by then, for sure people will answer them. But yeah, nowdays people demand instand gratification and succes. The golden rule if you want to become good in something is to spend 10.000 hrs in it. And that my friend, is the case with everything.

  • Hey cool shooter...only I found the yellow indicators blocking my view annoying. Maybe make them a bit smaller so they don't take up most of your bottom view?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Sethmaster Exactly my point. I love to play games, for years now. And now I have the option to build my own I think about all the games I wanna play. Ofcourse, everybody hopes that their creation will be the big smash hit, and there's nothing wrong with it. Even commercially exploiting your game, nothing wrong with it, but at the creation of your game their should be one important thing central, do I wanna play this game

  • Funny you think the same because when I was thinking of the few good games I saw recently it was your defender style game in the top of the list;-) Fun, cool looking and good gameplay. All what I look in a game. As for me, I'm working on a simple platformer but level design takes a lot of time But will soon have some screen shots..

  • peterbot1970 I remember the big battle between Atari ST vs Amiga in the day. I remember that wasn't easy to find an Atari st back in the day too. At least where I lived. But I miss those times! And Atari 2600 such an awesome classic hands down!

Those were the days, first playing the original game in the arcades, waiting for months until if finally got converted to the home computers and always be dissapointed but anxious to play

  • Hola guys,

browsing this and other game developers forums and looking at all games being publicized on the web I have the feeling that the majority of them are out for a quick buck instead of a good game.

I understand you follow the flappy bird tutorial, and that you are proud it's working and share it with friends, but really.....add it to the app markets?

Just starting to work as a game developer and the first things you ask on forums is how to implement adds and in-game buy options?

Uploading every week a game into the appstores....

Selling game ideas and pitches.... [ create them first I would say ]

For me the game and gameplay should come first and looking around I am kind of missing this.

What are your thoughts on this?

  • I myself am an Atari man and was always looking with envy at all those commodore games while I knew my Atari could also handle these (more or less). My first Atari was the 2600, my father bought it in the states when it came out and in holland since we had a differend tv standard I could only play the two games I had in black and white, the colors were gone and the sound was 4 channels away

  • Hola, you don't really need a lawyer to get a draft contract, on the net you will find many drafts for these kinds of contracts. Just make sure you put in the contract what the other party can and can not do with your files and you are protected. If they then do things that violates the contract, then it's time for that lawyer. On everything you create and as long it's original you have a copyright on your product.

  • Hola guys,

been meddling with construct now for a while and loving it.

Would be nice if there was an option to make a picture of your entire layout / playfield.

Is there already an option for this?

Now I have to use on desktop snapper to make a picture of an entire layout.
