    Awesome, thanks!

  • Sorry for bumping this thread, but I need some fast feedback about this.

Some of the guys experienced crashes around the cutscenes(which is pretty bad since the game can freeze after the intro too), I think I solved this problem, but I'm not entirely sure - can anyone who has experienced a crash\freeze after the cutscenes check if it's working now, or still has that problem?

You can download the original files from here or here

If the original exe is crashing, please overwrite the exe with this, and tell me if that solved the problem.

Thank you so much for your help!

It should run without problems at all, it is strange..

Thanks for the bugreport, I'll look into that!

  • TunaUppercut

Oh-oh. Which windows version do you have? Other pc specs would be helpful too(cpu\vga\ram).

I tried it on 3 computers, but all of them has win7 64(all of them can run the game without problems).

  • Ladies and gentlemen; Demo!

    Have fun!

Edit: uploaded it to my dropbox, if you had problems with the download from indiedb, try this link!

  • tchem I'm really happy to hear that, I hope you will have a chance to try the final demo! :)

    Good news!

Demo will be available at weekend(if the guys at indieDB let it out, sometimes they are reaaaally slow), I'm preparing for the last rush right now(I played it a lot yesterday, only found a few bugs - all of them are easy to fix, except one, there was a really nasty issue with object picking, it took me like 8 hours to solve it), so tomorrow I'll upload the demo, if you are intrested please check it out, and leave some feedback - to be honest, I'm waiting for the first guy who say "your game suck", it is really scary to only get positive comments from everywhere, I hope the final game will not dissapoint anyone.

    So, demo-weekend-feedback!

Edit: uploading the last closed stuff right now, if noone thinks it's full of game breaking bugs, then the demo will be up tomorrow. Yay!

  • Ouch, thank you, I have no idea how I missed these..

  • Hey

I searched for the forums about this, but did not found any solutions - is there any way to move the cursor without "lag" when using v-sync? I know it is not a bug, directx needs some time to draw stuff on screen, but it is really annoying, because my game is about drawing stuff, so this is a big problem - and if I disable v-sync, the game feels laggy some times when the fps suddenly drops, so that is not a really good solution either.

Maybe a solution would be to change the windows cursor, can we do that? Or anyone have any idea how to get rid of this?

Edit: maybe I found a solution

    import Tkinter

    lbl=Label(root, text="", cursor="@cursor.cur")

This should change the default mouse cursor, but.. I can't import Tkinter, I get this error message: "DDL load failed: %1 is not a valid Win32 application."

How can I solve this? I can load other libs fine, and I can load Tkinter in other interpreters.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Find video reviewers, post stuff about it on reddit(this one can generate huge traffic, and it can be done in no time), make a twitter account, fb group, stuff like that. There is a pretty good blog about promoting indie games

    indiegamegirl.com

And try the others as well(rockpapershotgun, indiegamereviewer, and so on).

Good luck, your game looks great, I love the camera shake, and the colors - it needs more gore though.:D

  • tchem

Haha, I feel sarcasm in the air.:D

The demo on indiedb is really outdated, back then I thought it is a beta - it's more like an alpha compared to the current build.

    Thank you sir!

Thank you guys, don't forget to spam it to your friends, act like a bot, spread the word! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Aye!

After like 5 hours of recording\editing, the second trailer is ready, check it out if you like this kind of stuff(that physics based puzzle stuff). [it took so long because I have no idea how to use Vegas properly, not because it's that awesome - it is, but I would like to look modest]

I started this project like 4 months ago, doing this in Construct Classic(not 2!), and most of it is my work(except the music, sounds, and I used a lot photoshop brushes). The fun part is, it's almost completed, it will be released on Desura(and if it's doing well, I'll put it on Steam Greenlight - if not, well, I probably will give it to everyone for free), the demo is coming soon(I promised it to march 20th I guess, back then I did not finished it obviously, but at least I'm trying).

If you missed the first trailer, click, and don't forget to hit the dislike button if you wan't to make me cry!

Also I have an IndieDB site, and Facebook, you should totally not going there and say "hey, your game is awesome, I want to play it NAOW!" Don't do it! And please, stay away from the like button!

    End of story.

    Edit.: Demo!

    Demo Mirror

Edit2: Bloop has been released on Desura, yay!

  • Ahh, sorry mate, I was reeeeally busy yesterday - and completly forgot this today.:D

I hope you can understand the logic behind it, and can make your rules for the puzzle.
