  • Until such time, what I have done in the past is, first Save, then go into the Anim editor and draw lines where my collision paths are. I can now see any gaps. Reload the saved version and fix the gaps.

A Little tedious, but it helps.

  • If you have UTF-8 encoding issues you need to load and re-save those files with Visual Studio, selecting that encoding.

See this tutorial for Windows 8 getting the Clay plugin to work, the last paragraph above the image at the bottom.

It might fix the bytecode failure for the Pathfinder.js as well.

  • I select all locations and go through and uncheck: Korea, Taiwan, Brazil, and South Africa. Those are the ones that get you denied for not having a ratings certificate. However that's for free games, if you want to collect money, you will need tax papers for each country. Ain't nobody got time for that.

  • Alert windows don't work either.

  • I like 3 best too, 2 if all the other graphics were VERY geometric.

And if I was using those other graphics, I would have copied the bush, flipped and merged a top and bottom out of those.

ANd Tekniko, if you meant for your signature to show the graphic, make the IMG tags lowercase. The signatures don't like uppercase bbcode.

    Edit: you edited while I answered. I like that much better. <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Now you should do the dirt spots with shadows to match the swirls in the tree, that would look cool.

  • It's not in his dropbox anymore.

However, that was for Construct Classic, not Construct2 is that what you were looking for?

  • Oh I thought you meant types as in text, sprites, particles, etc.

  • You wouldn't be able to tell when a particle hit a target, is that important?

I would use bullets, and have them rotate toward angle 90 an increasing amount each tick.

edit: my game Orbital bomb-Bounder is doing a simple gravity like that, the speed of the ball is set by the distance from the center, and it rotates toward the center each tick.

  • I don't understand what you mean, you say select multiple object types that are in the same family. But you can only have objects of the same type in a family.

  • That message only pops up the first time after updating, it probably repeated for you before, because it never saved that it was shown. After working once, it may not show again until the next update.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • As with any contract, never take your cut off the net. There are always expenses that can be added so that there is never any profit. The money always goes somewhere.

You could add in your computer equipment cost, office cost, wages, Bonuses, and it would never reach 5000 net.

  • I can't seem to unghost the bookmark toggle in the right click menu, anyone else have this? Control-f2 and the toggle in the Events tab work

    fine.

I like the square bookmark, big, clean, professional. If you change it might I suggest:

    <img src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/85412219/forumposts/bookmark.png" border="0" />

It's still the big square, reminiscent of a bookmark flag, and forms an arrow.

I expect requests for changing flag colors for different events now, but I would say we need to be able to rename them in the bar.

  • The alt key caused random crashes before all this, with more people pressing it more often we may see a lot more of that...

I popped back in here because I just pressed alt to see if the toggle bookmarks showed a hotkey in the event pane, and it crashed while editing Pucked.

  • Hey the new r135 update just fixed this family picking thing, it was a bug.
