  • R69 should've fixed that. Look here at the last but one "Bug Fix", but I can't confirm that, haven't used it myself.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • That looks like lot of fun. Good luck.

  • Hi Tom, could you edit profiles page? I've wanted to put links to games I've made to my "About me" section, but it looks like it doesn't take any formating, only text. I've tried to use and <a></a> tags, but nothing works. If you click at my profile, you'll see what I'm trying to do. Also other formating tags, like <img>,<p>,<b> etc. would be awsome.

edit> or separate "My games" section in a profile?

  • - if a certain condition asks for cpu, Construct won't bother if the first condition is not met.

First condition must be always met to run other conditions, so there is no real difference between those two examples, but B seems to be bit better for organizing. As you said, if you want to add something, you can add it to a subevent, and you can collapse the whole block, which is useful sometimes.

  • Ize

I can't run your second test. On Chrome I get white screen, on IE9 the loading freezes at 90%. First test works fine on Chrome, on IE9 it's same as with second.

  • The title says "Solved", what was the problem?

  • I've wanted to vote for C2, because I think more people use it, but zenox98 is right, there are still some features missing. So yeah, CC now, C2 later.

  • For me it looks tiled too, I'm using lates stable (15.0.874.121 m).

  • Circle is also there. If you click your object, you can find it in the properties tab on the left.

And here is what Ashley said about pixel collisions:

"I think it's worth pointing out there won't be per-pixel collisions in the HTML5 runtime - Javascript isn't fast enough. The Classic runtime uses C++'s raw speed as well as special CPU features to make it practical. There'll have to be collision polygons instead."

  • What C2 version you have, it's there. For locals only, but I'm not sure you could ever choose boolean for globals.

edit> Ah, I mixed up locals with instance variables

  • Chrome installs into C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\ path on default. Have you tried reinstall?

Choosing the path would be good

  • The game looks great, but it's really hard for me to play it. I'm leftie and the controls are for right-handed players, plus same what untune said about the guards.

  • Will we be able to edit our items once they have been uploaded? I would love to be able to post updates as I develop them.

About this one, Tom answered to the same question in the blog's comments

    • "versioning is going to be supported soon"
  • I like it, but it's very difficult to stay on the road, I think it's too narrow, can you make it wider for the next version?

  • It's a nice game. I agree with Kyatric's idea, it'd make it bit more fun. (Not that it isn't already)<img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
