Yeah sorry its taking me a whole lot longer then expected due to technical dificulties basically my laptops battery pretty much being toast combined with my charger busting. I should be able to work on it now though. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
Thank u Darklad for the great tutorial.
Is there part 7,8,9 tutorials for platform school or not yet.
Thanks again and wish u a nice day.
I'm curious- will this tutorial be continued considering Construct 2? It's be EXTREMELY helpful lately with my own project, and I could really use the rest of that combat tutorial- perhaps with some help with projectiles...(hint hint. xD)
I'm hoping there will be a continuation of this. It's been very helpful for me too so far.
I do have a basic continuation file done however you have been extremely busy with other things I have to get done. If any body is good at figuring out codes and wants to comment it out so other people can understand it than please say so because I don't know when I'll get to work on it again.
Do you mean comments in event sheets, or do you mean the signs in the tutorial itself? I don't speak for everyone else, but I could live without commented event sheets. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
maybe this is a left field question am I missing the previous lessons? the link provided says pt 6, just wanted to check and see thx
yeah you probably are here's a link to the other forum that has the others
forum
by the way a question to people would you like me to continue working on the next one in construct classic or start a new version in construct 2 salvaging the code from the other? The sooner the answers come in the better so I can either finish up the one or start ripping the code for the other. Currently I'm going to work on designing the characters that i'll use in the next one and any continuations after that.
I'm for keeping it on Construct Classic.
still need at least two more people to vote before i decide.
I think you should keep going with CC too. Its still early for C2.
CC. C2 needs a lot more functionality to be added such as Families, Containers etc. It shouldn't be too difficult to 'hand' convert if needed later, for those who wish to :)
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I've wanted to vote for C2, because I think more people use it, but zenox98 is right, there are still some features missing. So yeah, CC now, C2 later.
K. Ill go with CC for now. Once C2 gets better I'll start working on it.
