There are lots of great games made with fusion:

    Edit. Too slow

I think this would be really fair pricing system.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hey,

I just bought this AirConsole template, but I can't get it running.

    The game is hosted here:

    http://chillybro.net/AirConsoleZA/screen.html

and I try to test it here:

    http://www.airconsole.com/simulator/#de ... ConsoleZA/

But it just stays on loading screen and nothing happens. Can you help me out?

  • This is coming out really nicely! Style is astonishing and can't I wait to test it out. Great work so far!

tgeorgemihai I totally agree with you! Unfortunately all the engines have their own faults at the moment.

Construct 2 has the best IDE + workflow, but has major lacks regarding export.

CT Fusion 2.5 exports native apps, but the IDE is very badly out dated.

GameMaker has good export options, but requires scripting and the editor is outdated.

At the moment it seems like both CT Fusion and GameMaker are improving with those issues.

Probably Scirra should be concerned if Fusion and GameMaker come close to Construct regarding usability and they have better export options.

I have to say that I'm willing to pay good price if I get usability close to Construct and better export options.

It seems like GameMaker is coming with a node -based system. I personally prefer Constructs eventing system.

Sorry, no news at the moment... The project has been on a pause for a while...

I'm not sure if I continue with different game engine.

I haven't build for ios yet. Have you checked this part of the godot manual:

This is also a good place to find help:

  • Interesting stuff. Keep up the good work!

  • wow, for me this absolutely impressive! really great work!

i always thought of doing something alike but i didnt even succeed in exporting sprites from blender in the wright angles (also i have no clue how the map/camera effect works haha). do you have a plugin to export the sprites or do you turn them by hand and then hit export?

Thank you very much for the kind words. It has taken some try and error iteration until I got it right.

I changed the camera. How do you like it now.? Browser needs to be refreshed until "smoother camera" notification in in loader screen...

Always interested to see what others have come up with. We can exchange...

Thank you for the feedback. The biggest problem with the camera is in the center of the map because the camera has to make a really fast turn there. I'll have to make some work around there. The graphics are for testing purposes, but I'm still going to go with "low poly" style. Don't have release date yet.

I'll keep on working with the cam..

  • You have really good points.

I haven't compared Construct to bikes, but I could compare it to a car that looks like a sports car, but has an engine from Toyota Prius. The Prius engine is very modern and engineered very well, but it's not meant for racing, it's meant for commuting. It's really hard to win a racing competition with that kind of a car, even though it might look like a sport car. You have to be very clever to compete against real sports cars.

HTML5 isn't primarily meant for games, but that's what we have under the hood.

I wish C2 had something underneath that is meant for games and HTML5 could be just one export option. Now the thing is upsides down. We have something that isn't meant for games and we turn it into games. It should be other way round.
