  • OK good to know. Thank you guys.

  • Hi guys! Do you know if Greenworks plugin can send or fetch Steam leaderboard information?

  • I still can't get this to work.

    • Greenworks v0.26.6
    • Steamworks SDK: 1.41
    • NW.js: 0.26.6

I have Steam open and I run my game from desktop, my Steam turns green and says that I'm playing the game, no errors and still no achievements visible when they are triggered. Is there anyone that has managed to get Greenworks v0.26.6 working? This is an official plugin, so minifying shouldn't affect I hope. I made a test to play a sound if Steam is available and it played the sound meaning everything is setup correctly.

  • Telyko, thanks for the info. Knowing that I need to remove achievements to test them again helps a lot.

Edit: I finally found more info from: https://www.construct.net/fi/construct- ... rks/0-26-6

it was hidden behind a link.

  • I didn't find any information about which version of steamSDK should be used with Greenworks v0.26.6

I don't get any errors and my steam account shows that I'm playing the game.

Should achievements be visible if I run my game from my desktop?

I don't get any errors when I check the console with F12.

Can I test to get same achievements multiple times or will Steam ignore my call because I already got them?

I truly appreciate if someone can help me with this.

  • Are those badges still up to date : ) To this day I haven't found the Pirate Princess. I joined 23rd Sep 2010

  • I've had this issue with exported games. In the start event of layout put wait 0.5 then spriter associate all your stuff like normally. Don't use when object created. I think Spriter is slow at loading or something and needs time.

  • I noticed that when two tabs are open, I need to logout from both or else I'm logged in. If I copy the URL while I'm logged in and then logout and paste that url to my address bar I will be logged in again without entering any password. Seems to happen with Chrome, but not with Firefox.

    I use Chrome Version 57.0.2987.133

  • I noticed that C2's save and load function doesn't store Spriter object scale or animation speed.

  • The best you can do is to disable one part of your "code" at a time and see if it affects your FPS. Also if you use 3rd party plugins, you can try to delete them to see if that helps.

Did you see in the announcements that you can use it offline and that they are going for quick one-click export for mobile (better than C2)?

It sounds like it's still going to use wrappers instead of native export. I also didn't see anything mentioned exporting as exe. I'm most likely going to buy Game Maker 2 as it only has a one time fee. As I'm familiar with older Unreal engines, Unreal 4 seems like a good option as it's free.

    Good luck with C3.

  • I'm creating a level editor. Is there any good way to load json models with file chooser?

Maybe this tool is more professional and better suited for your needs:

They should have built-in controller system and I think it's a lot cheaper tool.
