  • How exactly did you "turn it off?" Did you sneak upstairs in the movie theater and shut down the projector?

I do that whenever I can!

  • Thank you, I love zombies.

I'm a not a visual artist/drawer, with barely any experience with drawing software. With that in mind: may I ask you how you made the zombie (graphics wise)?

  • that poor stormtrooper! ^_^

  • Do you also feel irritated at sunday evening, because the coming workdays you have to fill your days at a place you don't prefer being?

I'm especially awaiting replies from people who also think so.

  • I want a Nintendo PSX360+ running Steam with better indie support.

    I vote for this

  • thats weird, even though wii's game were fun and innovative (the remote)

ps3 and xbox 360 had HD graphics since years. and nintendo is just now doing this?

its only months until ps4 or xbox460 comes out with superHD (you know)

either way i hate consoles but if i had to buy a console i would get a wii (raving rabiids^^)

raving rabbids gets boring after a midday. Get a wii for a month and find out.

  • "Don't believe the hype!"

    (I'm tempted to start rapping!)

Seriously though, I would have thought that news like that would have been taken with a pinch of salt by the people on these forums.

    I want to believe.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I hope they call it the Super Wii

    lol !

  • Thanks for the reply. I think I don't care so much about hiding. So I will search on "checksum" in this forum.

  • I haven't experimented with it yet, but before I do, I thought I could get pointed into the right direction (or old forum post).

Is it possible, or in what way do you workaround the issue, to save data in such a way that it is hidden for the user of your game?

(hidden, in such a way that it is not easy to just open a text-file, that contains saved data, to alter the current progress of the game)

    For example:

    • main menu has an option: sound on/off.
    • level progress of a character, in an rpg-game.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Thanks, I will remember.

  • Disabling the limiter solved the problem! Thanks.

  • As a test I have placed a wav-file in the work directory.

When played in the preview, i hear a short crack/crackling-sound at the start of the soundclip, that can't be heard in the original soundfile.

Does anyone have experience with this?

    + System: Every 1000 milliseconds
+ System: Is global variable 'Countdown' Less than 5
    -> XAudio2: Autoplay file AppPath & "countdown.wav" (No loop)[/code:pcz7w1qi]

Properties from Windows (translated from Dutch, so may be translated in a bit uncommon way):
    length: less than a second.

    bit transmission speed: 1411 kbps.
    Size of fragment: 16 bits.
    channels: 2 (stereo).
    sound recording speed: 44 kHz.
    sound format: PCM.
  • All you need to do is close every layout, then re-open them. All effects will then be 'turned off' in the layout editor.

I will try this. Is this officially a bug?

Your avatar reminds me of earthworm jim.

  • Nice, thanks
