  • exactly why you have seams - individual sprites and letterbox scale can produce such results. Try if the non-integer letterbox scale mode solves your problem.

    I got my answer in C2 manual entry Tilemap object. Citation: " Seams occur due to fractional positioning or scaling of the display (e.g. scrolling half way between pixels like at X co-ordinate 100.5, or using the non-integer letterbox scale mode which could have a scale like 1.7x), and these settings ensure there is no fractional positioning or scaling. "

    Try to use recommended settings and see if it helps.

  • ok all my problems and questions got resolved with 1.52 update. The topic of "seams" was allready discussed in forums. Sorry for double posting.

    OK just wanted to share a game I found. Ultra simple design inspired by Sokoban and extended into chemistry teritory. Wonderful simplicity with good playability and education bonus layer :) Check it out an tell what you think?      :)

  • exactly why I asked. Kyatric has a wonderful tutorial on bomberman clone-type game. My experiment in comparison is a more feature ritch bomberman-type game with ultra simple random terrain generation.

    Ok, I will implement some more features as I learn and post on Arcade. If it helps other people as it helped me learning, my goal will be fulfilled :) .

  • Upon studying C2, one of the experiments I created was a Bomberman (or Dyna Blaster) clone. Is this worth uploading to Scirra Arcade, given the examples present on web?
