I am curious if Construct 2 can handle a game like Corporation Inc which
seems to be made in flash.

There would be quite a number of instances on screen at once and I feel like performance will suffer terribly.
Although my initial instinct is "maybe" I want a second opinion just so I have a better idea of Construct's limitations
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Construct is quite powerful, and the event system should be flexible enough for one to code such a game without too much pain.
As long as you stay on desktop platforms there shouldn't be many performance issues.

Nathan
I think performance would drop in endgame when I look at a video of the game in later stages. I can't make a good estimate though, maybe I am wrong.
Thanks for the quick replies, late game would suffer for sure. I'm interested if Construct could even handle mid-game and so far I've got two votes of confidence
Construct 2 can easily do that game.
I have recently started using C2 and I am finding it quite powerful and that it can handle doing most things quite well.
But at what performance, that's the question. Not if it is codeable - we know it is.
Its not that much going on.... dont know where the problem should be.
In modern browsers Construct 2 games use a native-grade WebGL renderer and the browser is JIT-compiling all Javascript to machine code. So it should be pretty capable of handling anything Flash used to be able to handle, and more.
This game is a joke for C2 WebGL accelerated-rendering beast rendering methods ... you guys underestimate C2 <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
every day I find C2 more and more capable :)
