  • Thank you GeometriX & eli0s you are very helpful. The fault was mine in one of the many events I asked the cooldown sprite to lay behind the radar pegs and not the mask. Uploaded a build on petrolheadtactics.com force own texture was helpful. Thank you again!

  • Thank you eli0s for your reply.

Well what I'm trying to achieve is to mask a sprite that will serve as a cooldown.

    It should look like this:

    These are the pieces.

And this is what the Destination In sprite look like.

I'm missing something aren't I because Destination In should mask whatever lies behind it on the same layer. Wrong?

  • Hi I have a little problem with the blend mode (Destination In) when I preview in Node & Chrome. I have not tried to export the project. Made some searches here but to no avail. Is it possible that I have missed that blend modes not work in chrome or node? Or am I doing it wrong?

I have a sprite with "Destination In" to be masking a sprite under it in the same layer.

  • Problem Description

  • and tested...

    Cheers!

  • Wisdoms There are of course several reasons but C2 is often excellent on its own. Some project that I have built has been completely dependent on plugins. Overall, I only use plugins when I have to squeeze C2 beyond its borders.

This, however, C2 handle with flying colors as we see in the tutorials you link to.

Another reason is that it takes a lot of time to test that everything works in exporters. C2 default plugins are often verry well tested, tested

  • I made a Capx, i think it's useful if you want a smooth camera follow? Anyway, here it is.

    Feel free to use it.

Thank you for your generosity! The effect is really good but I would prefer not to use plugins for only one function that I need.

  • Tested it on surface pro Intel 4000, i5, 4gb ram, cpu 80% 60fps.

Always so amazed by people like you that makes isometric stuff

  • you could possibly lerp it also. This would help start and end camera motion in a smoother manner.

I see you've been talking a lot about lerp here round and about. How can I make the camera ease in from this code. System Master has scroll to function bound to it.

  • alright i finally managed to run it... only on firefox tho, not in chrome. them cannibals keep catching me all the time, degenerate scum, but now im using the touchpad instead of a proper mouse... cams and everything looks alright for me but im not much of a gamer. love the ambience, the grainy pics n the radio transmissions and so. looks like a big project innit. you working solo?

Yes I'm trying to have the longest CV in the world: CEO, writer, voice actor, graphical artist, programmer, marketer + web jobs aside to pay rent HAhaha..(((BAAM))) my head just exploded. Music and Sound effects will be taken care of by other people I will get some custom stuff in a couple of weeks. Some outsourcing and time management is key. About the size. I have 10 custom made levels with place holders ready for sound & art department (that's me with a silly moustache and a beret on my head). You will get to play at least 10 levels with evolving storyline and varied enemies, You can see their logos on the top of the website as follows: Highway cannibals, Pain pirates, Sheriffs and the ASN (Aerial Sky-road Nemeses). Excited?! I want to make a PC game out of this. Some sort of RPG character creation and inventory system will be needed, is not done yet, for PC players to feel it's worth there time. Now I'm feeling that could perhaps be outsourced to so I can spend more time in my moustache and a beret. I have not asked any one jet or did I just.. Let me make this an open public question:

"Do you have the will, courage and skill and a XML reddy inventory system. Please let me know. I'm happy to make it worth your time!"

OK back to you. Don't worry the game will get a lot easier once you get a mouse! o_O ! The trick is to always move, use C (cancel earliest created way point) to sling your car away from bullets and don't forget to pause.

Thank you for taking the time testing the game!

  • You clearly know a thing or two of the the color doctrine mate. I get March vibes lonly and hostile. Can you add to our planet Earth in the background. Somewhat overshadowed and small, no one needs to know

    Keep coding!

  • oh, I figured you knew so I did not expand on it.

Sure, I have experienced that behaviour on some of my test machines. But not the strong degrees you you describe. That system is far from finished and will take a lot more power of thought.

Looks good, but unplayable for myself. scrolling/panning the screen is WAY too fast. very jerky and hard to move about the screen/map.

You have an excellent point, camera will be slower from the start. Added a slider for camera speed in the options menu, will be out next build. Here's high five for the heads up!

  • I had to refresh the page before it would load up and run correctly for some reason,

Looks awesome! The movement was jerky since the trajectory of the cars didn't aways match the animation, so the cars would like... flip back and forth, hard to explain. Otherwise everything is very cool. Enemy and combat felt smooth, but would be nice to select all of your units at once. Graphics are great too

Thank you very much for your testing you are very helpful!

About them vehicles. I got your explanation just fine Does it apply to all cars. Enemies and Players?
