  • This game looks so great! Seeing talented individuals' productions like this always warms the heart Would you mind sharing the synopsis for the story paulxx?

  • Good that you have passion that is most definitely needed in the branch of creative work. In that case, I suggest that you DO NOT GIVE UP the thought. Rather I suggest that you further build up the idea, the world, the setting and so on until you have the means/skills/connections to make it a reality. MMOs are complex projects that have a team of talented people behind them. I don't want you to be discouraged because of what I have said. Rather, take it as a cue to dig into game design and get your hands dirty with whatever makes in interested.

The best thing you can do if you want to be a game designer is to start small and NEVER give up a great idea. I've had an idea of a world and a game for 5 years now. Been writing the story and lore for a long time but because I feel it is such a great concept, I have not let it go.

  • Not enough is the short answer. In the end it comes down to the question can I live with this amount of money? Naturally a country or circumstances are not supposed to be THE deciding variable. Living in Norway with a tax% 24+ depending of your yearly income (average is around 32-36% I think) one must make a reasonable amount of money per month to buy food that is more expensive than most countries, to pay bills that are more expensive than most countries etc. OH I love this country.. --______--" So glad we planning to move somewhere else in a few years

Anyway... To work full time for a production (8 hours, 5 days a week) I've counted that my lowest price would be 3000 USD a month with the current conversion to NOK. Lower than that I can't provide for my wife (she is not working at the moment) and I. That is only the worth of my time. The value of music is not technically part of that but because I haven't done music professionally for that long and I am not that known and wanted etc. plus I don't work full time with music I don't feel that those prices are exactly justified yet. So then I give a much lower price either per track or package.

  • Lucky you... if you live in Monaco that is >)

  • I very nice idea you got, makes me just wonder.. I am aware that Construct is able to do many things and also miracles in able hands. Creating such a large game would not get to really shine the way I see this could. How much have you made games before?

  • Don't know exactly how the laws are where each of us lives. The countries I've lived in (Finland & Norway) all income is taxed and being commercial as a private individual has been made somewhat troublesome - almost impossible in Finland. If you do it for free, then of course there is no problem with it. And brands must be registered to have a legal say when someone knowingly or unknowingly "steals" the brand UNLESS the brand has been known and is established among a wider audience.

I suggest that you look into what is the game in your country

  • bclikesyou You have some sick good stuff! Especially Bad Wolf. Love it! I am really looking forward to the music for the game

  • AndreasR If it is of any help, I was using LG G4 running their Android 5.1

  • I really liked Key & Shield! It took a while to get used to the controls but eventually I figured them out. Goals are challenging enough. Can't gold the game through on one go which is very good. Music is great. Graphics are great. Good work! Looking forward to the second one

  • The game plays well and the graphic presentation is very good but achievements won't unlock? I scored 10+ and 20+ but the achievement didn't unlock. Oh, and there was an "error" message when scoring 0. Told me to input a number without an input field. Just an OK button.

  • The graphics are beautiful!

You should also think of other obstacles that would require different kind of reaction. Walls, railings, gaps. Then the required move to pass the obstacle could be launched with a key instead of a click.

Just a suggestion to give the game more content and replay value ^_^

P.S. On the second play they stopped counting at 8759 or something.

  • I gave it a shot. At first I was very very frustrated. I died several times just in the tutorial so tuning that could help out the initial frustration. But then I got past it and actually started gathering points. It really tests memory. Since it is not so much about timing ... well of course it is ... but if you don't remember you are dead! In this game timing is the forgiving one

Graphics look nice. Animation looks pretty good. I'd like to see the bunny's body moving but that is forgivable. Music works well. Very well actually. All in all a cool little creation.

  • What kind of music were you thinking?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Very futuristic but I must comp Darth Crusher here. But then again since you said it is kind of the point, so I'll let it slide

  • That seems just perfect
