  Updated Pinball Sandbox with Simpson's Theme Fan Game:

  I also tweaked the flipper and ball for better finite control and added some grit to the ball so you can aim it very accurately. You can really control the ball about as well as in real pinball now with a little practice.

  The game scoring and missions are still in development but you can see where I am headed.

  I am working on the editor and also a mobile version and flat screen editor version for people that want to design their own games.

  I have a website set up now so I can start promoting the game and sandbox editor when it is finished:

  do you think to put some missions to do?

  Thanks- I looked at the old windows pinball builder for some ideas.

  I am trying to come up with themes like golf and bowling and maybe a zombie game. I will be creating more layouts and components and then you will be able to use the components in your own layouts and add in decals and give it your own artistic talent.

  Coming up with ideas for mission layouts is the hard part!

  I finally figured out how to set up my editor so I can design new layouts easily and I created another layout for you to try.

  I also added two leaderboards so each game has it's own leaderboard.

  I am designing new components and I will have a chute layout and sport layouts soon.

  I will have at least 6 layouts in the free Demo version and more in the advanced version.

  I have removed the editor while I work it over but that will be included in the Demo version with many components to design your own layouts.

  This is an early Beta demo of a bowling game I am designing. Still a few bugs in scoring but plays well.

  You are a bowling God and you control the bowler to place him and set his angle, curve and speed of the ball.

  Get a strike and he gives you the praise. Hit a gutter and he stomps his little feet. Throw a 7-10 split and guess what he does.

  The on screen controls need work but this will give you an idea of where I am heading with this game and it is designed for younger players with less finger control or people that like technical bowling positions.

  You can pick up the 7-10 split but you have to be lucky. Simplified scoring is used and if you hit the randomly chosen bonus pin you earn a cash reward. More bonuses will be added as I progress.

  Also, you can use Photoshop CS2 for free since a while now, for example on Techspot you can download it with the serial. (It's not illegal due to an error of Adobe a while back).

  I am using simplified scoring for now plus a cash bonus if you hit a randomly selected pin in any frame. I plan to add other bonuses for trick shots as I progress.

  This plays very well and it requires some skill and practice to get the ball right where you want it on the pins and moving the player and changing ball speeds and curves has a big effect on where the ball goes.

  This is still bare bones and the controls and scoring etc. will all be made better in updates.

  So go give it a try and tell me what you think and ideas for bonuses to make it more interesting appreciated!
