• First of all this is for Construct 2 project I just assume physics are working quite similarly and it's more about math anyway. Questions like this just get buried quite quickly on C2 page.

This will hopefully explain what I mean

Think I just need formula to get that velocity that is effecting to certain angle of the tyre and then remove it perhaps little less than 100%.

So far haven't got a lot of success. Would be really nice if anyone smarter could help me a bit

  • If you use physics set immovable to Yes at start.

Then when mouse clicked -> Set physics Movable.

  • Maybe it helps to disable collisions from objects that wont need them, if you haven't already.

Just noticed yesterday that I can actually use external images whit node-webkit. Just not during preview as far as I know

  • How about smooth transition between animations if it is't already possible somehow.

  • Thndr

Yes I've played both. Specially liked Final Vision. Even when I am not a big Final Fantasy fan.

I was just wondering if the game is really long and if that could cause problems when exporting whit Node-webkit. Also if there was any other C2 limitations. I am planning quite big project and would like to know.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Using a single heart that's square in dimensions loaded to the tiled background object, and scaled to 4 times its original width.

For example if the heart was 32x 32 scaled to 128x 32

    On damage received

heart set width to heart.width- 32

Or you set health variable for the player. Private variable health=4

    And on events:

    Always

    TiledBackround: Set width to Player.Value('health')*32

  • Looks really great in motion

  • Demo available maybe Also can I ask how big is your exe and how long you would estimate the game length is in hours.

  • Starting over on C2

  • Found it so late. Well I'm not done yet! About a year is't enough.

  • Updated it a bit (Download on the main post), mainly damage calculations, changed physic simulation steps from 10 to 1 and added smooth camera.

    Some tips:

-When blocking it can help to move backwards, blocking only works when weapons are clashing to each others.

-When you block successfully you can hit back after that.

-You can try dodge by crouching.

-Wear Ring of the Gods if getting beaten too much or increase your stats.

Wanted to make it a bit more skill based and not just button smashing (well maybe there still is enough of that). Still designin what type of special skill system I will make. Should be different enough for those four planned character classes.

Still would be nice to know if this is complete farce or not. Still not final but perhaps near that.

  • Looking good so far. specially for first project . I have decent computer so there is no performance problems.
