  • Just a quick feedback based on a single run though :

1:- Crosshairs -some way of telling what you're aiming at would be good, perhaps they could even move out a further distance the faster you move?

2:- Graphics are nice on the helicopter, but the style is incoherent, there's the grass and the water with the fancy shader effects, but then the buildings in the cartoon style - maybe keep everything in the cartoon style. Including backdrops.

3:- Can't wait to hear some sounds. :)

It reminds me of Red Zone more than Desert strick being as you've got it top down as opposed to shallow isometric like desert strike had.

Maybe you could throw in some Red Zone style parallax on the taller structures to make things more 3d. :)

  • Thanks for the feedback! Sometimes you play through so much a certain way and you don't notice things people may try.

I made a few tweaks, and added the beginnings of a level 5.

Something really buggy has started happening with the animations which I need to figure out. For some reason all the non-looping animations ( buttons/doors etc) are looping infinitely, intead of stopping, causing some annoying glitches.

  • Has anyone managed to complete it yet? Too hard, too buggy?

  • Integration with facebook is good. Would suggest some new sounds, death/points are the same stock effect.

Maybe some more fluid animations too, as you're only moving one direction and between two states, some nicer transitions would be welcome.

  • Fixed up spawning and waypoints, so not it's easier to see the next marker.

  • I've been using Fraps, it didn't work with Firefox, but works okay with Chrome. :)

  • Love the graphics and the theme, is feline quantum imposition featured? :D

  • Skipped a version, now on 18. 5 Levels, hardcore action, less bugs, new sounds.

  • On the in-editor canvas, the frame was showing correctly, very odd. Deleting everything , re-importing the sprite strip and applying the collision mesh/origin seemed to work.

Did it display the sloped one when you opened it?

The only thing I can think that I did, was to perhaps confuse it with two versions of the same game, with identically named sprites etc, then close one, if it keeps a cache somewhere maybe it was referencing the sprite frames in a different order, as in one version I'd added new frames/reordered the frames.

  • Have you tried this in browsers too?

I just rewrote all my audio code to take advantage of this as a I have tons of lazers and things firing in a layout that I don't want sounding when out of range/offscreen.

So instead of applying volume to hundreds of individual tags for each object to set its volume, it's now possible to do it with the audio event itself, which is a godsend. :D

Have you tried firing two different sounds on the same tag with different volumes?

  • You're putting numbers in variable names, which in a few languages is a no-go.

Did you replicate it with a different name?

  • The image displayed in the editor is the correct image for the frame, however when viewed in game or in the image editor, it shows a different frame.

Click the image to download the stripped down CapX, the bug still present with all 3rd party plugins, sounds, events , levels etc. removed.

  • I updated again and fixed some bugs
