  • Joannesalfa I don't understand what you mean. Without a licence you can test on the simulators (which are fairly accurate). To test on device and distribute on the appstore you must buy the licence.

    The problem with adding an online app to Home Screen is that you can't monetize it.

    I mean iOS Developer Program certificate which is required to get .ipa in PhoneGap.

    There a lot of ways to monetize like ads, sponsors, in-app payments, etc. meanwhile in app store has right to remove your apps for some reason, plus you pay like %30 per sale to Apple and 99 $ annual. It doesn't make you an independent, but it gives you a lot of money if your app is lucky.

  • There a better Flash exporter in Multimedia Fusion 2, it has almost smiliar to CC Interface but more or less. But not cheap for 2 licenses like MMF2 and Flash Exporter, i got both licenses because i participated with my friend for Newgrounds xmas game contest with Games Factory.

    About Stencyl, well $ 149 per year, it's complicated what you keep paying for years while you develop flash games. Also there will have another exporters like HTML5, Android and Native Apps, but with Java runtime meh.

  • I personally chose C2 because this interface is more friendly than Stencyl.

    I do not believe in native apps because they can be pirated.

  • It looks like animated frames by Blender3D or some 3d editor. You can make a sphere, then apply a texture, then render and get animated frames, it's easy.

I haven't seen anyone made a real app for stores, i had bad times when i tried to compile with PhoneGap, but there an annoyance made me feel frustrated because i should to provide my certificate to compile .ipa, i believe it was bullsh*t, i tought iOS develop program helps us to improve codes and host app stores, BUT i didn't know about compiling .ipa requires certificate in PhoneGap, it's so annoying. I decided to not buy 99 $ per year... I only add HTML5 Files in Safari doesn't cost anything, plus there comes an extra script Add to home screen

  • I noticed example and source files are down. I guess you should to make another one from stratch according this tutorial, why don't you give a try? if you do, then you master C2.
