  • I have been following this project since it started if you can believe it or not! And I am talking waay back! Glad to see some awesome progress being made. Looking forward to seeing more!!

  • Yeah this does fix it you're right! I completely spaced on that. Still though quite the annoying bug!

  • Problem Description

When I launch C2 (I even updated off of Stable to the newest Beta) and I make a new project or open an existing, it seems to think the Image Editor is open, which prohibits me from doing anything.

Can't add events, edit sprites, nothing! I can't even exit out of the program without having to use Task Manager!

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

Literally all I do is open C2 and nothing pops up, but when I go to click it says "Oops! There is a image editor already open. Make sure it is closed before you try to open another one.".

Which is weird because again, no image editor is open and this happens when I click on anything, adding an event or double-clicking a sprite.

    Observed Result

It wont' let me work! This pop up blocks the C2 editor entirely.

    Expected Result

    The image editor to work!

  • Problem Description

Hello! I have dual monitors and my C2 won't open it's windows on the correct monitor. Is there a way to set which windows, such as the image editor, to always open up on the extended monitor, or the monitor that has C2 running? I am doing this as Win 10 has issues hiding the taskbar and I want to be able to work on the monitor that has no taskbar!

I reset dialogs and it just puts it back to the monitor with the taskbar.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Step 1 Open C2 on Dual Monitor
    • Step 2 Close out and open again. See where the image editor opens.
    • Step 3 etc. Reset dialogs and see if it fixes. Then close and open again and see where the image editor goes.

    Observed Result

This is a temporary fix but an annoying one as I am recording daily!

After more extensive trial and error, C2 itself loads up on the extended monitor (perfect) but the windows don't (Image editor, not perfect). I reset dialogs and it will reset to the extended monitor (yay) but when I close out and open back up, it does not save the image editors position. (nay).

    Expected Result

Win 10 Should save the position for the windows the program pops up depending on the monitor. Maybe this is a driver issue? What are your thoughts?

  • Thanks Ashley! Fixed that file and now all of my problems are officially closed! Super pumped!

  • Ashely, how do I get the reload app window to pop up? I couldn't even get it to reproduce that. Also, I know this isn't the post for it but are you aware of debug not working at all for NW.JS?

  • Danwood I created some new projects and I got it to work but the project that I was using still won't start NW.JS which is super strange! Any thoughts?

  • Danwood No luck there :/ I must have hid the NW window from showing up somehow? I'm going to try reverting and see if it fixes but what a strange thing to happen!

  • Problem Description

Working on my projects as usual and loaded NW but when I went to right click on my game, it right-clicked on the NW window. In a flash I saw a menu pop-up and all I could read was 'reload-app' but it seemed there were other options and when I let go of right-click, I must have clicked one of them. Now I cannot load nw.js at all when I preview my game! I exported to NW.js to see if this would run and it still won't even load the window! I re-installed nw.js (newest version for newest beta build) and still nothing... thougts? ____

None to post, it's an exporting issue.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Run your project in NW.JS
    • Right click on the window itself and see what options pop up
    • Assuming there is more than the 'reload app' please let me know what options are there and if I can reverse this!

    Observed Result

I can no longer even use NW.JS for playing or exporting my game!

    Expected Result

    The window to pop up!

  • Animmaniac count me in for testing!

  • Hey everyone,

Just another feature I thought would benefit some! I was working on my Ludum Dare 34 game this past weekend and I had this one event that I kept adding new things to it's actions because it was really important. Then after I had edited it for the 30th time I had unknowingly deleted it. I had already added 20+ so new events to another event sheet so to keep hitting CTRL-Z over and over, didn't make sense I might as well go back and redo it.

Obviously, this is a small feature and just something I thought of after this happened:

Just like we can lock layers, can we add support for locking events? That way you can't delete it or edit it unless you unlock it!

Would love to hear what everyone thinks!

    Best regards,

    Jeremy
