  • Exactly what I did. It is a global object, and it is on the main menu layout. I have the event: (Trigger Once): Audiere: Load Music (filename) as "Alias"

    It is set to repeat on a constant loop at 75% volume. But everytime I go back to the main menu from any other it restarts, i dont want that to happen

    Hmm, in that case, have a layout before the main menu that starts the music, then never return to it again.

    So on this layout it just starts the music, then transfers to the menu.

    The medal you get when buying C2 is sort of like the star the jews got by the nazis, except this time those without the mark are being targeted.

    I can not help but feel that this was the soul purpose of the medal itself.

    How so? I don't feel any discrimination going on. The medal is just to signal that they are part of what is going to make C2 so great.

  • Yeah I could see that making sense. The only thing I gotta figure out now is to make it not start over when i go back to the main menu. I just want the song on a constant global loop.

    Try making your sound object global (rather than including it on every layout) and only start playing it on the first layout/if its not already playing.

  • Well, I never managed to get a tutorial made, so instead everyone can have the source <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    This makes it free to learn from, but also free to modify if you keep your game non commercial <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Try again in a new cap file. If this doesn't work, then it may be a problem with XAudio2 on your computer. Try the other audio plugin Audiere Sound here.

  • Thanks for the report Jayjay, it will only do that if you are not logged in, I've done some tests and if you are logged in it's fine. I'll fix this anyway

    The odd part is that I am logged in, and it's still doing that <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Edit: Oops, I was trying to open it in a new tab, thinking it was a page. Just clicking it makes it work properly.

  • Not at the moment but yes eventually. For now simply tag Construct Classic tutorials 'Construct-Classic' and Construct 2 ones 'Construct-2', I'll figure out a way to separate them soon!

  • Are there any plans for seperating C2, CC, and Non-specific tutorials into different searches/sections in future? I think it'd be more useful for new users who want to find tutorials for the Construct they use.
