  • ok what about 4:3 resolution? Or the others you decided not to include? My app included those.

  • I could get it working pretty quick. Its not too difficult if you have a budget.

  • You do not have permission to view this post

  • I can help you easily if no one else has.

  • I have gotten admob to work fine in my bed bug treatment app. You seem to be requesting someone just do it for you though?

I'd be happy to help but to assume I'll do it free just because, is a bit wrong. I wish you the best of luck though.

If you dont mind paying for support I can have you up in an hour or two depending on the time zone difference.

  • I recently got back into it too and I'm not a fan of the layout.

As for c2 and Phonegap. That can be a bit annoying depending on what plugins you need. However, sounds like you just are using the 'export to' incorrectly. I cant remember the export options. One of them is either phonegap or cordova. Use that. Then zip it into a zip file before uploading to build.phonegap.com. Note you will likely need to adjust a file before zipping to include phonegap plugins correctly to make sure the correct plugin is used and that phonegap build uses the right version.

  • Can you explain more what you are trying to accomplish, also I'm interested if you are still looking.

  • Different testing device?

Trying to figure out why the screen size is different.

However, yes when planning for mobile you should plan for different screen sizes. When I created my bed bug treatment app, I had to do some math on the loading screen in order to figure out best image size and text size/position. I made that in C2 though. I only recently upgraded to a c3 license.

I'm guessing it's still a do it yourself though when it comes to mobile design for multiple mobile screen sizes.

  • Were you able to find someone to assist you?

  • I have an app based on my daytime job, currently available on the Play store. I have taken best practices for bed bug treatments and placed them into a mobile app. I've received positive feedback on the content of my app, but the UI is in need of some tlc.

I want to redesign the app from the ground up with UI as a major part of the design. I also want to add extra functionality such as adding multi language support. A few other features as well, but I can add those. I really need the help with UI and maybe a translation or two.

I cant really offer any upfront payment but I am willing to offer profit sharing once published. There is a worldwide epidemic of bedbugs happening at the moment, so the potential user base is massive. This could be a paid app, subscription model, ad revenue app, or we could make it and sell skins of it to pest control companies or housing authorities. I'm open to that, but I want to focus on rebuilding the app first. Make it pretty and functional first.

Anyways, heres the app in its current state.

  • Everyone has probably read the news lately about this nasty little bugger. I spent a year training on how to eradicate them for a huge fee. I was selling service for $400 per room to clear bed bugs using harsh chemicals.

I left that job and entered a new job specializing in eradicating these buggers. It's here through University training that I learned the most effective treatments do not involve chemicals, nor do they involve heating up a whole room.

This app shares the steps used to eradicate this bug effectively using non chemical methods and equipment readily available usually in nearby stores. Saves people needing bed bug treatment a fortune. Unfortunately it does limit my potential customer base, but bed bugs are on the rise globally. So I guess I'm primed for an upcoming app market? LOL

  • Are you looking to build a trading bot? I'm guessing you can find one already built on github.com if that's the case. If not it should be fairly easy. I know in c2 it's a quick process. I'm just guessing it is in c3 too. Look for an Ajax plugin in c3.

  • I will look into that tonight. The level of the user required can be fairly inexperienced.

    Hi..

Any screendump or documentation in how to use?

    Regards

  • Your problem is the plugin you are using. The Facebook plugin provided with Construct 2 was not built for mobile deployment. You need a specialized plugin for that. Try the scirra store or the completed plugins section of the forum.

  • Hi ... Thanks for quick reply

I guess you dont see my point

I was hopeing for a way to get player/user to send

a sms to their friend about the game

Since player/user cant insert a number eg. in a inputbox

or pick from their contatcs / phonebook

    its very limmited

Insert a textbox and a button object. The user can input a phone number in the textbox and when you press a button use the textbox.text variable in the send sms action. Using the users contact list would require additional features that I didn't build into this because it would require additional permissions and Cordova plugins that the end user might not want to grant. That's why support for contacts wasn't included and it would have increased the cost of the plugin for users. I will look into creating a plugin using the contacts of the device. Consider that a work in progress plugin.
