This will show you how to do your "Or" and "Else". Thanks to a guide by R0J0hound

  • If anyone is interested I have been seeing a lot of request for a CBR reader (comic book Reader) for the Nook Color in the past 10 months.

The business reports are showing profits for Nook Color developers and the license is free. I think anyone that know android could make some money if they submitted a CRB reader.

  • I only used Drop Box for sharing CR2 files, but it worked great to test HTML5 links Thanks Tom!

After testing simple physics I was sorry to see that browser for my Nook Color ran my program very slow, but I did see some improvement my HTC Thunderbolt. thought no where near to the PC speed. C2 is coming along quite nicely.

  • Anyone have a good free test server?

I want to try out my game on my Nook Color table and want and would like a easy url to browse to.

    Thanks

  • Tom Great idea and a very fun addition!

My original post was to get badges for big achievements and helping Scirra grow. I like the levels that you added and hope you continue to make the badges a fun experience!

I play Guild Wars and they have titles that really add a dimension to the game. Some are easier than others, but the Kurzic title took me 180 hours to get. *hangs his head*

  • Spent my lunch looking for the Pirate Princess LOL

I really like the 1X, 2X 3X, etc for the badges it makes them more prestigious to get higher levels.

But going to work on some tutorial for that badge too.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Many thinks Kyatric I never thought to use the animation for anything besides, well animating. LOL

Great outside the box use for that.

    Have a great day!

  • Very Cool Tom. And this badge thing has me looking at what kind of tutorial I can do for new users to get a Tutorial Badge.

Oh there really is a "Found the Pirate Princess" badge? I thought that was a joke. LOL

    Update

OMG is she? Ugly. I guess you would have to be FORCED to date her. LOL

  • I want to have different scenes for each room. In my example the "Go to Room" buttons works great.

The "Switch RM1" button is supped to take you back to Room 1 which is does, but it is also is supped to change the sprite to the "Room 1 Scene 2" sprite.

Do I need an Every Tick command here? That command is always confusing to me.

  • you rock Kyatric

  • I am having problems with doing an Else. I want to toggle my layouts back and forth.

  • Thanks Arima

    great avi BTW

  • Agreed but some people are really wired to achievements as modern games show. Making hard to get achievements may actually make C2 creators life easier, as people help. Maybe even add levels to the the badges? Or copper gold and silver for each?

  • I am in the planning stage of an adventure game. It will be 1024 x 768 and contain 28 full screen background images. Is that too stressful for C2?

The game will have buttons on the side and a status readout on the bottom so I was thinking that I would like to have the backgrounds set at sprites since they swapped more easily.   As this would be easier to manage the data and keep the interface vs layers or especially layouts. Thoughts?

Note: the game will be puzzle/strategy so there will be only minimum animation.
