  • now im asking if any one would want to try to make a program that looks like an operating system but runs its own pre-installed programs. Its not an OS but a shell if you have any ideas reply

I am confused why you might want to do that? Just for fun or to see how far you can go? I am sure you would lean a lot about Construct in doing that but in the end what would you have, or how often would you use it?

I do not have lots of free time and would rather spend it making game or program that I and other would find very enjoyable to play.

Good luck with your endeavor and I will definitely give it a try when you are done just to see how far you got. Only in Cap form though for obvious reasons.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • With all my high end graphics program I have never seen the ability to rotate a partical like you suggest. Partials are meant to be just that. Partials. but...

    Why making your own?

    Path Movement Behavior by R0J0hound

Make the path and then just create a streams of objects to follow?

  • Hey pretty good!

We could use some music people here. Maybe even start a library.

  • Worked great. Thanks KrushBrother

  • Please add Guyon56

  • How do you do a carriage return in a Text Object? I want output on different on lines.

    I tried "Chr(13)"

    INI.ItemString("TimeTrial", "Name") & "Chr(13)" & str(global('BestTime')/1000) & " seconds"

  • Nah, someone can just copy and paste on wiki then. No biggie

  • Looks goods!

I started a new section on the Master Plugins List for effects.

  • I was just updating the Mater list and adding a new effects category and noticed that it is no longer a sticky? List not important anymore?

  • great plugin . I only missed support for curve paths like beziers or something like that. Other than that it's all good

But you can make pretty good curves with just a few extra clicks. Not perfect but close enough for any game purpose.

  • Very Easy to use. Intuitive, fast, powerful. What more can I say I love it!

  • ...and there it is: a path editor at edit time. Made from a gutted physics behavior.

This is the future of of enemies for 2d games.

Nicely done, I have to try this!

  • Yes, it's term that's been around since the 1920's at least, so I would say it's an old-timey term. It was a concept first used for hand-drawn animation. Sometimes called "slow in/out" instead of "ease in/out." It's one of the twelve principles of animation as written by Disney's Nine Old Men.

Thanks for the word history it was was actually interesting, but I have a feeling that deadey's (Hot for Code words) legs are not as nice as Marina Orlova LOL

Or do we need a pole?

    Marina Orlova 1

  • Is this what you mean by ease in and out?

That works great! I was looking for a build in behavior but your math works too. Love this program, I just made a bad guy path that patrolled until he saw me and then ran at me. Thanks Again

    Old time term?

But really not only does flash have the ease in and out but all my big boy 3d animation programs. It is an important part of any moment

  • Very Creative!
