  • Indeed you are right my friend.Coding can be a daunting task.But once you get used to all the scripting ,Compiling jargon then the rewards that you get from that can be great.I have created many applications using C++ and C#.Apps with c++ and c# are still quite difficult to master ,And creating games with that can be a total nightmare.

    That is why there are such great programs like Construct etc...But Some say that if you use a program like Construct or any other Click and Create program that you are not truly a games developer.But when they say this About Construct i can say with pride "ah but CS uses the python language therefore it's not a Click and Create program".So with CS you can have the best of both worlds.

  • What graphics card do you have? Nvidia ,Ati Or onboard GFX.Without any Technical specs there's little we can do to help you out.

  • Go to start menu and then go to run, type in dxdiag that will determine if your directx files are corrupt or not.Look for any missing or corrupt dxd9 files .If there are files missing on the directX files tab then you need to reinstall directX9c.Try downloading a new driver for your gfx card first.

  • Ive been getting wierd problems with Construct lately.Whenever it try to open a cap file that ive created then Construct refuses to load the cap file.Solution : When i deleted the persist file of the cap then Construct loaded the game again.

  • Seems like a vram error.How much megs does your gfx card have?.You could try to update your gfx card's drivers or get the latest directX drivers.

  • Python means programming if im not mistaken.And the event's mean that you program the sprite what to do ,It's just cleverly disguised.For instance sprite.X+25 looks alot like the C# and C++ language but it's just alot more simplified for the end user.

  • Why don't you just download Daz3d?.It's got motion captured animations and it can save animations as separate png files.You can also modify any 3d model with daz3d ,Especially the characters.http://www.daz3d.com

  • Lol yes i can see that.But comparing Construct with Kodu lmao.Kodu is a learning tool for kids and it's got 3d environments,Construct is a full on programming tool for 2d games.

  • Has anyone seen the Kodu Program from Microsoft yet?.It's basically a learning tool on how to program games.You can also create your own 3d worlds with it.It runs on top of Xna studio 3.1 and you can create xbox360 games with it quite easily.Ive downloaded it and my kids love it.

  • Some updated screenshots.Ive improved the background and the trees a bit.And im busy with the cave stage.Basically the game is about a girl named othelia ,She has to restore the colors of certain objects in the world in order to progress further.In the cave area she can only restore the colors of the blue crystals and she has to fight to get to certain crystals.I still need a hud but i will leave that to xzalion cause i suck at creating hud's.

  • Now my dropbox won't work for some reason.Does anybody have the same problems?.I can log onto the site but my dropbox app won't work.
