  • They think it's funny to insult people and calling them trolls etc.I have never experienced this on other indie forum's.Sorry for dropping you this way , But i don't want to do anything when im being insulted this way.

If someone is insulting or trolling you then feel free to hit the report button. We can't do anything about it unless we see it happening.

  • And maybe because "no man" would be foolish enough to set foot out there between the trenches?

  • I've created a sticky thread for testing your competition ideas here:

    The Thunderdome

To keep forum clutter and broken hearts to a minimum, I strongly urge everyone to use it.

  • To avoid a huge influx of everyone under the sun posting their own competition thread, let's test the waters first. After all, you don't want to just post a thread and then get no replies, do you? That would be pretty embarrassing. And the forum might fill up with dead threads with no posts. I can see that we will need a bit of quality control to keep that sort of thing down. So...

    Welcome to The Thunderdome.

Here you can play around with your ideas and try to rally some interest in your competition before committing to a thread.

    Some guidelines:

    • Post your competition idea in this thread.
    • Put some thought into it. Make it interesting.
    • Get some feedback from other members to see who might be interested in your competition.
    • Work out any details for your competition here, based on feedback from interested members.
    • Try to round up at least a few interested people before posting your announcement thread.
    • If people aren't interested in your competition, then please don't post a thread. No hard feelings, just try to come up with a different idea.
    • When you make your thread, link back to your Thunderdome test post so we can see that you've made an effort to craft a decent competition.

    TWO IDEAS ENTER.

    ONE IDEA LEAVES

    .

  • How to make colision wen 3d object ?

You don't. You use tiles or sprites.

  • That is absolutely gorgeous . Those colors are amazing.

  • This topic has had it's run. What can be said about the subject has been said a hundred times in similar threads, and they've all devolved into the same sorts of arguments.

For a thread in which the topic is about driving potential members away to exhibit the sort of behavior which drives potential member away is rather ridiculous. I hope you can all see the irony in this.

    Closing the thread...

  • I had a similar problem with an older version of SpriteFont.

Anyway, SpriteFont is a plugin made by lucid, so you should post any bugs you find in his thread so he can take a look at them:

  • Layer scrolling only works if your layout is bigger than the screen, and you are moving the camera.

Your game does neither of those things.

You can scroll the Tiled Background texture of the snow and trees the same way you are doing the clouds, by moving the offset, but you have to make your texture size a square power of 2. In other words, it needs to be 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, etc...

  • Try installing Construct Classic r1.

  • PLEASEEEEEEE .CAP OR TUTORIAL VIDEO PLEASEEE CONGRATULATIONS

It's pretty much exactly the same as making a regular top-down game, only he made a 3D model of the room and used the 3D Object object to put it in his layout.

If it's tutorials on 3D modeling you're looking for, I might suggest finding a modeling program that looks good to you and hitting up their forums

  • Moved thread to Tutorials subforum.

  • Moved thread to Help/Tech

And yes, Jayjay has the right idea. Make a tileable image that is just blurred black and white noise, then add warp and magnify.

  • Try Construct 3
