  • Updated first post, with the possibility of a base64 string dump for the SVG canvas. (Nudge chrisbrobs <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />).

    Thankyou <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • You could make the animation frames with any decent 3d package.

    Here's a set of textures and a basic textured sphere(3ds) I made.

    (feel free to use them)

(I made the green 14 striped ball to get you started)

Just swap the textures for each ball.

    Good luck

  • Its very nice now! good job.

EDIT: Would be nice if you didn't need to click so much :) like using motions to hit the ball instead

Thought about going down that road, but it needs the 'click' event to enable groups/ detect collisions/ ball shadows etc.

Next part is coding events for the player serve....nightmare.

    Thanks for testing.

'I can hit the ball even if it's on the other player's side :)'

Sorted problem...added speed score at the end.

  • I can hit the ball even if it's on the other player's side :)

    Whoops

Thanks for pointing that out...will fix it.

  • I am using the canvas plugin to capture a rectangular selection of an image....

then 'Canvas.imageUrl' to save the rectangle.

Everything works as expected...but the captured rectangle resizes to its original size in the new browser window.

The following screen captures might illustrate it better-

    <img src="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22173473/canvashelp.png" border="0" />

Any idea how to fix this?

  • Hi,

I like to know if somebody has used the "iScroll" plugin, of Pode, in a project exported for Appmobi?

I thought this plugin was by 'septeven'.....not pode ?

  • Why are you posting about bugs/ problems in a version of C2 that has not been released yet ?

  • Couple of new examples of how to create a 'Page flip' effect in C2.

  • anyone can help me?

I tested your game(after exporting it) on Opera mobile simulator and the touch events work?

  • Im not saying this is a bug, but could only post this here-

Installed C2 r99 (previously r95) today and unfortunately-

'Go to Canvas.imageUrl in a new window("NewWindow")' no longer works in preview mode... the exported project would even run.

Why is this blocked in the latest releases? I can't test stuff unless I revert to r95.

    XP sp3 Nvidia geforce 6200

    Graphics drivers up to date.

    <img src="smileys/smiley7.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Not actually solved, but its a third party plug...so I probably need to ask the question elsewhere.

  • Whoops! I should of read through it first.

    Brilliant tutorial by the way.

nice work ^^ i really liked but i would like to see the text getting smaller when i write alot of litters so if i write 5 it will be 30x30 and if 9 litters then it will be 25x25 and so on.

This is possible(i think)..but you can resize each letter individually.

^^ also in coloring while the litters are mixed (combined or joined) sometimes it doesn't color the whole litter also sometimes it get bug and stick on the same color..

If you keep the letters apart while painting them, it shouldnt be a problem..as per the step by step.

. keep the good work this really original ^^ good luck ^^

    Glad you like it!
