  Is it possible to create a cone of light with the light and shadow caster objects? For example, for use in making a flashlight.

  Great, the animation works now. One problem though, it doesn't stop when I release the keys.

  I have my event set out just like linkman said, with the else being a sub-event.

  Oh, I see my problem now. The event was checking to see if wasd were all down together.

  edit: How do I do the OR and ELSE things in an event?

  I tried doing that. I set it to check if w, a, s or d is held down and then change the animation to walking. I also made another event to check if these keys aren't held down, and then change the animation back to standing. But it didn't do anything.

  In my top-down game I have made animations for when the player is walking, however this animation is not playing. It is set to play on the default tags for walking and standing.

  No it's a top down shooter using the same kind of shooting as in the ghost shooter tutorial. I added the reloading in as an event (If r is pressed, go through the reload process)

  Hi, what's the command to wait a few seconds before the next one? For example, if in the game you are reloading, and you want it to wait about 3 seconds before you can fire again.

  I'm making a top down shooter and it's going pretty well. However I have run into a problem: When bullets hit a wall, I want them to make a ricochet sound. I have 9 ricochet sounds that I want to use (ric1, ric2, ric3 etc.), and I want one of them to be randomly played when the bullet hits the wall. What is the easiest way of doing this?

This program is so easy to use and understand, it's exactly what I've been searching for! I previously tried MMF and I just didn't like the feel of it, but I can tell I'll be working with Construct for a long time
